If so, distinctions need to be made. Print media is usually liberal, TV is by the large liberal (save for Fox News), and radio is mostly conservative (save for NPR). While the way programs present news and the way they selectively report are usually biased, the content is quite certainly factual. Doing otherwise would spell ruin for a network.

Regardless of whether or not that's what aleco meant, I like to use the terms "Conservative" and "Liberal" rather than Republican and Democrat, because the former represent general ideologies, and while the latter usually abide by their respective partisanship, they can cross over and not be completely representative of the original intent of their meaning.
