Spec has a point. A very good one. Several very good ones, at that. Back when people were rallying for more mods, I remember that I was the only person who said "but who could be a mod?" I view the moderators in a certain kind of special light. A light where they always seem to know what they're doing, they're smart, funny, active, and in definition, the perfect poster. I remember saying that the only person I really viewed in that light was Cenright (and Freak at the time). Cenright got modded, and I couldn't have picked a better person myself.

But...I have to say, I never viewed Arch in that light. There's no doubt you've been an effective mod- stupid topics were locked, idiots were silenced. You ruled the forums with an iron fist. But the forums need a pen of steel, not a fist of iron. I felt that more than a few occasions you went completely out of line. Whether it was undermining the mods, flaming people or throwing around unfounded accusations, quite a lot of what you did destroyed that golden image of Administrator.

I don't think you're trying to 'rally your troops', so to speak. I think that you know you've been out of line, and you're trying to see how much it bothers people. You're testing the water to see if you should jump out. The Robbyzero and Kenzya issue, unlocking topics locked by mods or locking topics left open, flaming...popular opinion has been down as of late. As 87x said, during the beginning, you were terrific. But as 87x also said, you need to be more detached and stop letting your emotions control your modding, as well as control your tongue.

I'm not going to vote, because I don't believe in looking at this as an election. I don't want you unmodded. I don't necessarily want you to stay modded either. I just want you to be the best mod you can be, for the good of the forums.
