this whole we are aliens thing was sounding a bit interesting to me... but its starting to sound more like a conspiracy theory than any sort of tangible idea...
like... well why would they destroy the technology... you could always say, oh well they were trying to hide something from us, them destroying the technology was the perfect plan to keep us from knowing!

sounds a bit farfetched for me... you can always counter something that way...
