I am going to have to disagree.
Teaching Science is one thing, teaching evolution is another.
Science is Chemistry, Physics, AND Biology. And bio is pretty cool too, except when it comes to discussing macro-evolution.
Macro-evolution is the theory that we came from little cells which came from Amino Acids. That is a theory explaining how life was created (which every religion has too). The theory also states there is no God. That sounds like pressing Atheism to me.
and the sad part was, when I was in Bio, we spent 1/2 the time talking about the big bang, and humans that are 1/2 monkey. The other 1/2 was cool (micro-evolution, anatomy, ...)
And when has christianity not had it's story straight? (please give examples, and make them semi-recent)
And when was the last time christianity started a war??? (it was quite a long time ago)
But please respond with your answers, (especially on the latter 2)

No where in the theory does it state that there is not God. That is just a common belief among those who believe the theory to be true.
I dont know what you were doing in Biology talking about the Big Bang which doesnt have anything to do with life science.
I wasnt referring to christianity starting wars, I was referring to religion as a whole. 9-11/Afghanistan, enough said.
LEVITICUS 21:13
"If man also lie with mankind as he lieth with a women, both of them have committed an abnomination: they shall surely be put to death: their blood shall fall upon them"
Case outlawing homosexuals to marry, not only that, but the endorsement of killing homosexuals.
LEVITICUS 21:21
And the man that committeht adultery with another man's wife,[restatment], the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death."
Case outlawing adultery, though there are no laws against it now (save premaritally agreements, which only take effect after divorce.)
If Bush passes a law to outlaw gay marriages, then he must pass a law against Adulters.
As I have said, I have nothing against religious folk. They just need to lighten up a little.
