You can keep going on about christianity keeping people in check, but I don't think it's that at all. I guess you wouldn't understand, but when you truly feel God's presence, it is a VERY real thing. I don't base my faith on anything except the fact that I KNOW God exists, not because anyone has told me, but because I have literally walked beside him, and had conversations with him.

I know I might sound crazy, but I am dead serious.

Biggest examples; the bible and corruption in church officials.

The bible is consideres the only religious text that never contradicts itself. Give me examples (verses) of where the bible contradicts itself. If you want to discuss a point, you should have direct knowledge of it, not something a friend told you (thats called a rumor).

I have studied atheism a LOT. Now I am ok if if you're athiest, but please know your stuff before you go off bashing religion.
