Well, I wouldn't know what age it's usually lost at... I lost mine at 17.

HOWEVER, going with the topic here, if she just lost her baby, the best way to do that is to be a good friend to her. I gave mine up for adoption and it was one of the hardest things to do. It's similar, not the same. I still get pictures of mine (he's sooo cute, I have to brag, even for a moment). Still, what she needs right now is a good friend that she can lean on and depend on. If she starts to cry, comfort her, make her feel better. Tell her it'll be okay, that it wasn't her fault. I think that would help.

Now, when she gets better you can ask her out. Mind you, it all depends on the girl. It could take months to heal but if you're willing to wait, then it will be okay. ^-^ If you get rejected, that's okay, too. It may be sad but at least if she keeps on being friends with you, she might not feel that way eventually. This chance may be slim, but if you think the girl is really worth it, she'll be worth the wait.
