Could be a modified engine.

Each Genre is a different tournament, one for each official tournament. You can play songs from each division and each round. To unlock the next song you have...

If you can AAA a file in a higher round, you should be immediately bumped up to that round surely.....

Not sure if its doable, just want to put the idea out there. The velocity engine is amazing and gives hope for an even better engine. This could be part of it.
