I smash keys and my keyboard sliding around was a problem for me. My solution has been to use a chunk of rubber-like shelf liner underneath my keyboard. Same trick for a cutting board.

This one is likely deliberate. There are some times when this trick is done (and dore used this trick a fair bit) to keep the "downbeat" on red arrows despite the music changing with an odd time...
