Kick does sound like they're a bit shallow, and the break seems to be a little louder than the kicks as well. At least you're not trying to brickwall it. but yeah, needs more bass imo.

Maybe a little variation + some 16th note fills?

If anything, though, I could barely hear the drums at times, the piano and the synth's kinda overpowering it.

Whoa that explosion at around 1:00 clips o-O

But yeah, that synth drowned too I think, had too much of an ambient. But you did plan on changing it. Also I don't know about you but the bassline on...
