Re: World of Warcraft

Oh hey I got mentioned.

Yeah Dev's guild is really awesome, especially when you're leveling. Everyone there is extremely chill and funny, and overall nice people. As he mentioned, though, raiding...

Re: World of Warcraft (Authenticating)

Cleared the Heroic 5-man. The jousting portion can be difficult if your party members aren't good at the jousting dailies. Everything else is simple enough.

Re: World of Warcraft (Authenticating)

The realm status page on the official site has a very large chunk of servers still down. Not sure if it shows every realm or just US realms though.

Re: World of Warcraft (Authenticating)

Something Awful says five. Which is enough to purchase an epic gem recipe, so I guess that's worth it.

Still waiting on Mok'Nathal to come back up.

Re: World of Warcraft (Authenticating)

I'm not sure if Fraps can do that, but you always have the option of recording vent via the built-in recording function, then using Audacity or something to record the playback later, and syncing the...

Re: World of Warcraft

So all of the significant Yogg+0 firsts have been taken. Stars got the world first, Paragon got the EU first, and Premonition got the US first. I still marvel at the coordination required to pull off...

Re: World of Warcraft

Whoo, this week's raiding has been fantastic.

Last night, we got all the way up through Hodir and killed Razorscale. I managed another 10k dps while being dead for half the fight thanks to me...

Re: World of Warcraft

Yeah, we do it on 10 easy. But on 25 we just can't get it done. In 17 wipes, we got to phase 2 twice--and that's only because the arena team died just shortly enough before we got to Thorim that we...

Re: World of Warcraft

Hmm. 17 wipes on Thorim-25 today. And we still didn't get him down.

Is it bad that it only took us two wipes to beat Mimiron and we can't do this?

Re: World of Warcraft

Well I don't have a story that can compare to that, but my guild just three-shotted Mimiron 25. On our first three attempts ever.

It was quite fantastic.

Twitchie and I are usually right next to each other in dps, usually with him in front.

In other news, people have decided not to call me "Sage" or "Sag" like I figured, instead opting to call me...

Well, Fraps is the one well-known video recording software I've never tried, so I'll look into that one and see if I can get it to work. Tomorrow is a for-fun Naxx raid that I can test it out on....

Re: World of Warcraft

Today was an awesome day.

My ten-man group got to Vezax for the first time, but wiped a few times and called it.

The guild's 25-man 2-shotted Hodir and Freya, then 3-shotted Iron Council. The...
