Kyrx
Endorphin asked me to do a second project, and make a graphic for a W.I.P. single that is going on his upcoming album Still Missing You. The name of the single is obviously Kyrx. I have two versions:

Re: Kyrx
Not really one for visual art but I liked the first one better. Don't really like the redish tint. I would say have maybe a little more going on though, few more ripples in other directions...and if all else fails just use some lens flare...can't go wrong with lens flare.

Re: Kyrx
I forgot to mention this in the first post, but everything is all defaults. Everything but the font came with Photoshop, so it's 99% original; no downloaded brushes.

Re: Kyrx
I like the colors of the first one, but the second one has more definition if that makes any sense. I personally say go for the second one.

Re: Kyrx
I liked both graphics, but the placement of the text and the choice of font does not fit the image.
but hey, thats just my 2 cents lol. if the artist likes that as a cover, he should take it. :) |

Right now, it feels that the text is kind of annoying to read cause of the overlay with the light. |
Re: Kyrx
I had intended the effect to be the focal point, and moving the text out of it would detract from that feel. I never considered it to be hard to read, though.
I should probably get the link to the song from Endorphin and post it here so you can compare the song and the graphic. |
