FFR Graphic Freebies!

1 Attachment(s)
Be prepared to do a lot of scrolling, this is one huge post. I just added some huge Poster images.

So, one day when I wanted to watch Over the Hedge, I put the dvd in my laptop to see it, and to my surprise it had a lot of printable graphics stuff.
Attachment 19638
So that gave me an idea. Why don't I do something similar for FFR? Bookmarks seemed good to start off with, so I some made here.

Bookmarks

I made these to be printed at 300 dpi so that they're 2"x6"
I suggest printing these on heavier paper so they would last longer. I think photo paper would give the best results

This bookmark is based off the main website layout.

This one you can fold in half. You can glue or tape it together.

This bookmark is based off the game.

Here's an alternative just in case you think the white FFR guy clashes with the black too much.

Posters

These are designed to be printed at 200dpi so it leaves quater inch margins on a standard letter sized paper. I designed them like that because I believe most printers have hardware margins of a quarter inch.

Beethovens mask provided a website that allows one to have a special pdf document made for you to make one large poster using several pieces of paper. That website is http://www.blockposters.com/
You can upload these images to there and then choose how many pieces of paper you want it to take up, then print all the pages from the pdf document and put them together for a larger poster.

Here's a preview of what a poster would look like:

credit goes to Beethovens mask for taking that picture.

I had to save these ones as jpg :(, but they should still look ok.

Lol Maze

If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

How's the maze?

Oh and I looove these. Great idea. I'd like them more if they didn't have the gray border though.

Re: FFR Bookmarks

I had the gray border because that's the background of the main page. I guess I could make one without the gray border.
edit: aw shoot, I just now thought that it would've been a good idea to make reserve posts so I can link to those posts to make it easy to find the certain type of graphics. I guess it's too late for that.

Re: FFR Bookmarks

Well you could always just group them separately in the main post. And WOAH I never noticed the main page background before ha. Wow. That's actually pretty cool lol

FFR coloring pages would be awesome.

Also add a Synthlight book mark. XD

Not when printed at 300 dpi, They're 2 inches by 6 inches, high quality bookmarks.

edit: I wish I had ink in my printer so I could take photos of them for examples.

Uhm, see I was just asking you how the maze was on the dvd =/ Lol nice work though. Stumped me there for a minute (no seriously)

I also would like to see maybe another stepchart? With the actual noteskin? Would look cooler imo

The maze I made is an edited version of the one off the dvd, so you can somewhat tell what that one was like, except without the grass stuff surrounding it.

As for the non-blue arrow only noteskin version, maybe. My blue arrows are fixed renders so that they look better. You can compare them to the arrows up top where you have to hit the arrows. Mine aren't true renders so that they don't look so obviously bad (no offense Synthlight) when bigger. I didn't fix the others because just fixing the blue one was a big pain. (took me a few hours to fix) While this post is on topic with another thread I made, I'll post the link to my arrow render thread here: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ad.php?t=90203

Printing solid black is never a good idea. They are cool though.

Very true, but if someone doesn't mind wasting black ink, I have those mostly black bookmarks just for them.

The image would be so huge, I don't think I would be able to upload it. I might be wrong though. I'm also thinking of doing stuff that's not meant to be printed.

Thanks. That's pretty cool. I was just thinking for one sheet of paper though lol, but now that I have thought more about it, the dpi can be pretty low for posters since they're not meant to be looked at up close, so the image doesn't have to be that huge.

I'm going to start designing an FFR Poster now.

I wonder why FFR doesn't sell posters in their store. I would've thought that posters would sell better than stickers.

I can test it for you if you like. Show you pictures of it on my wall.

I changed the thread title, and I added posters and the maze into the first post.

You can if you want.

edit: wait, why didn't the title change in my Re: and in the most recently updated threads list :( I'm going to manually change this post's title and see if that does anything.

Is it not possible for me to change the thread title? :( I don't want people to mistake this for for a bookmark only thread or think this thread is about a browser bookmark for FFR.
