Why don't they increase the max number of credits one can earn on a song from 40 to 50 or 60?

50 would probably be a better number for it, but I'm sure they have there reasons.

But if someone AAA's Final Fantasy or something like that I'm sure they're not gonna wanna get the same amount of credits for not even FC'ing Eternal Nightmare or something like that.

When the credit cap was off people were getting 80 credits off of MaxForever.

That's just too much. Besides you can get all of the secret songs easily through the 40 cap.

After that credits are pretty much useless.

And credits mean nothing once you have over 60,000.
So whats the point?

1) Not everyone has 60,000 credits
2) Songs will be added later on, so you'll need more than 60,000
3) People who host tournaments generally want large prizes
4) Some things implemented later on could put those extra credits to use...

I thought the cap was 24 before?

Then it was raised to like 80 or removed for like one day.

Then capped at 40.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

Maybe if there was some additional use for credits, i still have about 18k to go before credits become useless to me :S.

Not saying that bumping the credits up won't necesarily be a bad thing, 60 credits for a song wouldn't be terrible as long as the current scale for credits isn't changed. It would only allow really long songs such as Pants, FFLBF, Max Forever and other songs with over 2500 arrows to actually hit the max of 60. I just hope we can get something additional to spend credits on so i can whore out the game even more than i already do :)

Well I suppose the cap could be raised, but its not necessary. Plus, 40 credits a song isn't shabby, and I am sure the FFR admins have their reasons also.

Of course it's useless now. They never implemented suggestions such as characters, new songs for purchase (vaguely remember someone complaining about that), and skins so what's the point besides the credit usage for tournaments?
