Recoloured Photo
What do you think?
Before ![]() After ![]() It's my very second try at doing this sort of stuff, my first attempt was kind of bad but apparently it was fab. I'll only show people who want to PM me for it, because I don't really want to show it. |
Re: Recoloured Photo
Don't really know what you want people to comment about.... the recolor is fine, your style and choice of colors are okay. In my opinion, the work you did on the shirt is the best part about this.

Re: Recoloured Photo
Nice job. I think the eyes would've been cool if the color wasn't changed on them. I don't mean to be picky, but since it is a reflection in the mirror, I would've just mirrored the upper side to the lower side so that the it would save time coloring and would look like a true reflection. I see that it isn't exactly the same in the original on each side now, so not doing that is perfectly fine. I do like how you did the shirt the most. The pale face with purple lips is pretty cool too.

Re: Recoloured Photo
Hey, thanks you two. Just made another one. :)
Before ![]() After ![]() --------------------------------------------------- I agree about the reflection but I didn't want to bothor with it because I was worried I'd do it wrong, didn't have the right confidence to do it. |
Re: Recoloured Photo
Pretty cool. Kinda wierd, but cool :P

Re: Recoloured Photo
Nice blurry background effect you have in that last picture. You're pretty skilled at coloring in black and white, that's cool. The picture seems to have gotten better in quality too when you colored it.

Re: Recoloured Photo
Ahh, that wasn't my colouring. In Photoshop CS3 there's a tool called "Noise Removal", I think that's what it's called anyway, but I used that. And that's what increased the quality of the photo. Other than that and Motion Blur, it was all thanks the layer property "Overlay". Which reminds me, is it possible to put tatoos on people using the "Multiply" layer property?
:D |
Re: Recoloured Photo
And here's me!

Re: Recoloured Photo
Simply using the multiply layer style won't be sufficient to realistically place a tattoo on someone.
I'm having trouble seeing the point in these recolorings. They don't necessarily add any artistic effect to the pictures. They just look funny. |
Re: Recoloured Photo
Other than accidently missing out editing the school bag, I think recolouring photos is cool! And it makes photos look cool too.
