I just can't beat reaction games, IE. Missile 3D, grid 16, or bubble trouble =S

I think it would be better if Grid 16 was based on the average of your percentages rather than the time. There is that bug with the falling ball, and a person could basically kill themselves on all the other games, leaving the ball to play (which is insanely easy), and running the time up that way.

This way if you did the percentages there is a motive to keep all 16 games in for as long as possible.

For top of a new page, so it is seen.

Also, score:

Using my method above, I would have a score of 91... I personally think it would be a more effective way to score this game. :P

Also, this was my first time ever playing it, so... cool.

Actually even playing the ball game for a long period of time will jack up those percentages. I'll think about what to do on this.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core (100,000 Credit + Cobalt Flux Grand prize)

The thing is I do not think that it will jack up the percentages as much, in comparison to the overall time. Sure it will, but the other games will still play more of a factor in percentage variation; essentially, a person should aim to not kill off the other fifteen games.

Anyways, I have to figure out what the hell I'm doing wrong that I can't beat levels 8 and 9 on that addicting missile game...

Edit: PM'd my answers for mentals 3, 4a, and 4b...

Just took 1st place on Grid16... but it's only a 250 point battle on that game, so I won't try very hard to re-beat it.

Fixed a few words in Mental 2.

Clarification: All the prisoners are able to do is say "green" or "blue" in the courtyard at any given time.

For #1: If I do not say you're correct, it's because you're not -- play against me if you are sure and I will show that you are wrong, lol.

If I just start the tournament now, and submit my scores, catching up to the rest, will my scores be valid? ('cause I'm starting late).

Or are rounds 1&2 closed?

I believe this is how it works, but I'd like to make sure before I dedicate any time to it.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core (100,000 Credit + Cobalt Flux Grand prize)

yes you can submit now.

btw for the extra.. how do we submit? Screens of each level? or just of the last level? because I beat it and it doesn't say anything about beating it just restarts...

and for the extra Please PM it to him or it spoils the point of it.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core (100,000 Credit + Cobalt Flux Grand prize)

jon: i'd suggest NOT posting your level 9 pic in here... as it'll give away the solution.

what i did was re-beat level 9 (as yes, it just disappeared after you beat level 9) and stop 1 move from the end. then SS that. i'd send it to rubix in a PM.

also... man do i wish i could use my old metro scores... had a great run a few days ago.

Wow, lvl 9 is obvious once you figure it out. xD

But isn't everything... So maybe I shouldn't have said that. D;

I would love to see where everyone is right now with ranks, rubix... ;-)

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core (100,000 Credit + Cobalt Flux Grand prize)

I believe he quite gave up. its been 3 days since the last update. Tass' tourney has been.. a week.

:S Why not just give the credits to me if you're giving them out xD so I can use them in my tourney... which I think might fail seeing how the two of yours failed =(

Paroxysmic 03-2-2008 01:47 PM

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core (100,000 Credit + Cobalt Flux Grand prize)

I don't think he failed, but it would be cool if he just gave out the prize to the person in first right now.

By the way, has anyone played Audiosurf? That game is AWESOME!

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core (100,000 Credit + Cobalt Flux Grand prize)

you aren't in first right now either. ;-). i just haven't submitted the majority of my screencaps. since i know they're all beatable... and i don't want people having a goal attached to their whoring. unless you have mental 5 parts b and c corrent... then you'd be ahead. since i don't have those yet. although i'll put some time into them eventually.
