CREATION

What do u think about creation?
Was it an explosion of cosmic dust or did God really have a hand in it, if he exists at all?

Personally, science has always been more convincing than religion. I am more for the Big Bang then God's Plan. It does not make sense for a being that is "not there" to create a universe.
Science proves everything as time goes on, and science will surpass the God theory.

Re: CREATION

Every hypothesis on origins is inherently religious, in my opinion, since you cannot demonstrate or test scientifically if an undocumented event in the past has occured. Even if you were to run a successful computer simulation, such a reconstruction would still be mere speculation. It all boils down to your own presuppositions and assumptions.

Also, many people believe in both the Big Bang and God. (not sure how reconcilable they are, though.)

"God existed outside the bounds of our universe"
"God causes this universe to exist"
"That causation is the Big Bang"

They're actually quite reconcilable.

This thread is far too ill-conceived for CT.
