DRAMA! The Clark quote is interesting because a few months back when Kerry's campaign was in the shitter he fired his main dirt digger and that guy went on to work for Clark.

a few things that will hurt kerry are 1) that his state massachusetts has legalized gay marriage and 2) howard dean said kerry has a paramecium implanted in his forehead that uses uo oxygen so that he doesnt get wrinkley skin

Wha...? Anyway, I don't particularily like Kerry, but he's sure as hell better than Bush. My philosophy for this election is not 'Vote for who you think is best', it's 'Vote to get Bush the hell out of office'.

i think this is al bs, they dig up all this shit, and its never 100% true
however,i cant vote, so why should it matter?
my parents wont take my opinion on politics

electing someone to replace bush could mean electing someone worse than bush.. a lot of people are just trying to get bush out of office, so they are just coting for whoever.. but nobody does research on the running candidates... plus you gotta remember, all the talk the people are doing now is just to get on the good side of the people.. no president does everything they say they are going to do.. so why trust any of them to keep there words.. i dont really like government.. but its the only way we could survive, so i have to deal with it.. im giving my votes for the next president to my brother, because he follows everything about government in the news, and i trust he will pick the most qualified for the job...

Assuming that "#$* marriage" means homosexual marriage, I really dont think people should be so worried about it. I mean, if youre heterosexual, who cares if two homos wanna get married? Theyre homo, youre not. Let them do what they want, it doesnt harm you. And if you are homo, what have you got against it? Everyone needs to stop being in such a freakin uproar about it if you ask me. In fact, legalized homosexual marriage may slow down our population growth and slow down our overpopulation of Earth.
Just my opinion on it. Shoulda posted this somewhere else.

gay marriage doesn't effectively become legalized for like another 180 days

chillywilly 02-13-2004 03:24 PM

Even if the the person elected to replace Bush isn't worse,it doesn't make him good either.Remember, when you pick the lesser of two evils, you have still picked evil.
I just don't think we should elect someone solely on how much they hate Bush.If we are trying to make the country better than we must do more than simply beat Bush and elect the first guy to walk past the White House. In any event I'm not sure where I stand on politics right now.

Bush liberated millions and took an evil dictator out of power. The economy is also on the uprise. And in terms of power Bush has a lot as of right now. The republicans control the house, senate, tied on the judicial, and they are in control of the executive. As soon as O'Conner dies, Bush can appoint another conservative judge, and thus rule the nation.

Laharl 02-15-2004 10:17 PM

Kerry wasn't going to win anyway, so who really cares?

Specforces 02-18-2004 09:04 AM

Yes, Kerry would never win against Bush, unless, of course, the election was held today, remember, the economy is the number one indicator of the Presidential incumbent's chance of winning or losing, and as of now, the economy isn't that great. Unless Bush can momentarily boost the economy, Kerry might give him a little bit of a run for his money.
