A Photoshop Question
I just started using 'Adobe Photoshop' again and I'm doing a project for computer class which is making a buiesness card. Everytime I make a new layer and try to draw a rectangle using the rectangle tool it links the new layer to the backround and makes a vetor mask. The problem with this is the vector mask makes it so I can't move the picture and if I delete the vector mask the whole backround becomes the same colour as the rectangle. I tried unlinking it and it still doesn't help. The stats of the work is 3.5" wide and 2" tall with 300DPI and in RGB colour. Anyone know how to fix this?

Re: A Photoshop Question
it sounds like you are using the shapes tool to draw your rectangle. you don't need to use that if you are trying to make a rectangle. use pencil or something haha.
or you can use MSpaint, they have a good rectangle tool :p |
