ways of giving yourself dreams

Hey does anybody know of any possible ways that you can give/prepare yourself a dream right before you go to sleep. Just seemed interesting.

By the way, I also paintball so if anybody that reads this does paintball:

Ya it's easy to prepare yourself for a dream. Let's say all day you've had this girl on your mind or something and it just doesn't go away or if your having problems, chances are they will become a dream and you'll eventually have a nightmare/or a wet dream from the chick :P

oftentimes if you fall asleep with your mind full of thoughts, your mind will dream of some of those things after you fall asleep. that happened to me last night... i had surgery this morning on my mouth, and they said that i couldnt eat anything after 8 hours before the surgery. so, when i went to bed i was obviously thinking about how hungry i was. later, i dreamed i was eating popcorn :).

Yeah, I always dream that I'm about to have this great big yummy dinner.. and I'd be so hungry (in the dream and in reality). THEN my alarm goes off and I'm back to feeling even hungrier without having time to have breakfast.

chardish 12-21-2003 08:30 PM

LEGO 12-21-2003 11:39 PM

"your not that bright"

way to go asshole, you've proved my point about you.

by trying to insult me you blatantly draw attention to your stupidity allowing me to verbally pwn you.

chardish 12-22-2003 12:13 AM

What was your point? You didn't really have one.

And you were the one who insulted him, blatantly drawing attention to your stupidity.

LEGO 12-22-2003 12:33 AM

Whoa whoa whoa. How am I stupid? I just laughed at him for being a bedwetter.

RobbyZero 12-22-2003 05:59 AM

Ya,you obviously are dislexic. Here's a thing you need to know about reading it's called " Reading Between The Lines "

Look it up sometime, then get rid of your dislexia too, cause you obviously didn't understand my post to begin with.

Since nobody cares to do anything besides postwhore and flame I thought I might add a meaningful suggestion and possible answer to the original question posted in the topic of this thread. I will try to keep it short.

You dream on average about 5-10 more times per night than you remember. Even if you don't remember any sort of dreaming, you are a still dreaming. So the bottom line is that you are dreaming the same amount each night regardless of what you remember.

So how to remember the dreams we already have and influence or control them? No matter what you do, you must be prepared to have patience. This is not something you can accomplish in one night.

Your dreams mimic real life. Think of them as a liquid life with a touch of imagination. Dreams are many times related to current events in your life so the first thing you can do is think about dreaming, alot.. Think about dreams you would like to have. Think to yourself that you know you will dream and remember the dream tonight. Take this even one step further.. Write the letter D on the palm of your hand. Look at it multiple times throughout the day and ask yourself "Am I dreaming?" and then give yourself and answer and tell yourself why that answer is correct. This will eventually lead to lucid dreaming which is where I think you are eventually headed if I have the right impression of you.

Don't forget to keep a journal next to your bed. Every morning when you wake up.. FIRST THING you do is write down anything you can remember about your dreams.. doesn't matter what it is. This will aid you in remember your dreams because you are training your memory.

Just remember to keep with it. I could go on forever about this subject, lucid dreaming and oobe's. That stuff is for another post though.

Cheers,

Synthlight

You could go on a bit more about this.
I find it very interesting, but I really know nothing about this subject, so I have nothing to add. But apparently you do.
I think lucid dreams are especially interesting.

chardish 12-22-2003 10:10 PM

I find it interesting as well. At the risk of being dubbed a postwhore, continue, Synth!

What's an oobe?
