Womens Rights

I want to hear about opinions on Womens Rights

makaveli121212 12-19-2003 03:47 PM

what do you mean, thats pretty vague...i think they are pretty equal and they should be

RobbyZero 12-19-2003 04:02 PM

They aren't equal. Arguements and debates have gone on about this forever.

They should be equal. Enough said.

Burning_Cyclope 12-19-2003 04:17 PM

women have the same rights men have...or so I thought

They should be equal

Lupin_the_3rd 12-19-2003 04:21 PM

i don't think there are any people on this site who are ignorant enough to think that women are lower than men (unless a certain (name withheld) individual decides to be a jackass to rile us up)

Anonymous 12-31-2003 05:24 PM

lol...they devoted a whole man show to this cause. 99% of women dont know what sufferage is, and wanted to stop womens sufferage. a man told them what it was. they got mad

I don't know wether it is equal worldwide at the moment, but eitherway, it should be. We're all humans alike, and we deserve the same rights. no more, no less

In some ways women have more rights than men do. Consider abuse. If a woman hits a man it is fine. If it is the other way around it is abuse. Women also get special rights during emergency situations (Titanic = women and children into life boats first) among other times. They might not be totally equal to men in some ways but they have somethings better than men do anyway. If they wish to be completely be equal then they may have to let men share those "special rights" with them.

I do believe rights should be equal for everyone regardless of sex, race, or creed. No one is any worse or any better than anyone else.

Also, men get all the diseases...seriously, women are more succeptable to Breast Cancer, Osteoperosis, and Vaginal diseases and cancers. Almost everything else is more commonly found in men. You name it- color blindness, various cancers, eye diseases, men are almost always more succeptable.

Very true. All due to that Y chromosome. The playing field will never be truely equal in the genetic sense, but it deserves to be equal in the legal sense.
