Halo Movie = fail.

There has yet to be a successful game-to-movie translation and I'm not expecting much from this movie either, despite Peter Jackson being an executive producer.

Silent Hill, Chromer.

There isn't enough plot in Halo to put itself in a movie position.

Yeah, I agree.
Doom was bad enough.

Re: halo movie

resident evil? i liked it. but if you read the first book i think youd agree it would be an awesome movie. it shows how he was picked as a kid and put in training with 1000s of other kids who all were turned into spartans. check it out sometime. and as a sidenote, yes..doom did suck lmao

I have 2 things to say here.

1) stfuitsbrandon, if that is you in that pic, you look more like a girl then I do.

2) My friend read a cast list for a resident evil movie envolving Claire and Chris. But he mentioned Ashanti as a lead character (Dont know which one) but that is a total turn off. Why can't they make a movie actually following the games plot. >:/

I don't know what y'all are talking about. Doom was awesome.

Halo has a great plot if youve read the books. If the directors, and the people who write the scripts(forgot the term for it >.<) do a good job, then this will be an amazing movie.

Re: halo movie

I wonder what a movie would be like in first person for, like, 2/3rds of the movie and I like the games but a movie might be a stupid move.

Resident Evil f*cking sucked hard. It was a disgrace and a f*cking insult to the game. Apocalypse f*cking sucked hard but not as much as the first abomination. They spoiled the Racoon City saga of the series. Why Capcom let them get away with that is beyond me, let alone allowing them to make a second. Moneys a good reason, moneys always a good reason but not reason enough to let that piece of crap through.

On topic now I think.

I won't be looking forward to a Halo film. Saying that though there isn't enough story line to spoil now is there?

Seth, read the books. There is more than enough story to make a great movie. If the script writers do their job well, there is no reason for Halo to not be a great movie.

If the script writers do their job well. I will then read the books.

Re: halo movie

I'm not gonna lie, the books were highly entertaining, and only took a few days each to read.

The Halo movie will naturally be an action movie. John makes almost no personal relationships, so it couldn't be too deep, but that doesn't mean it couldn't be extremely entertaining.

Don't be such an attention hog. Would you have been happier if I just quoted you? I mean, the post in which I responded to came AFTER yours, so it seems that he must not have caught it when you said it.

Didn't they actually have over 30 minutes of first person action but couldn't add it because it made people queasy and ill?
