Animal Crossing DS
It has it's ups and downs.
Ups: ONLINE PLAY ONLINE PLAY ONLINE PLAY Rounded world (look at screen shots if you don't know what I'm talking about) Playing and typing with the stylus Pause menu set up PORTIBLE! Downs: Four people can play per game, but they all share one house instead of having separate houses. It's really hard to fish facing north (due to the roundness). I've played about an hour of it, my brother stole it and is making his file now, so I don't know what else there is. As soon as I get my code or whatever, you guys should come to my town and say hi! I doubt many people have it yet, but my town name is Lavale and my character is Fish. AHHHH BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS GAMMMMEEEE!!!!! |
RE: Animal Crossing DS
Thank god I never got the Gamecube version. Supposively this is a lot like it.
Can't wait for it :D |
RE: Animal Crossing DS
Great... The cuteness of this game is going to corrupt the minds of many more children, and now it is portable... Well, the game is good, but it is scarily addicting. The Gamecube one is enough for me because even now, I find new things to do... But seriously, this game freaks me out...

RE: Animal Crossing DS
Before, you could only visit a friend's town if you both had your memory cards. Animal Crossing 2 for GCN was canceled. Now...

RE: Animal Crossing DS
I thought the one for the gamecube was addicting enough now with online play I will have to get it now. I forgot the game came out so soon, well i'll post my id tag after I get it and get use to the controls.

RE: Animal Crossing DS
We'll have to make a GVG thread for DS ID tags. But I think it's best to wait 'til Christmas, when more people will be getting DS systems and wireless internet.

RE: Animal Crossing DS
Ooh, I really want this game. I read an article on it, and it looks fantastic.
|
RE: Animal Crossing DS
I did practically everything there was to do on Animal Crossing for GC.
There was not one square foot of my basement that was not crammed with random items I did not want to sell, and I had filled up every bit of mail slots with stuff attached too. |
RE: Animal Crossing DS
OMG Nook's already expanding his store. IT'S THE SECOND DAY I'VE PlAYED.
|
RE: Animal Crossing DS

|
RE: Animal Crossing DS
Reving this thread because I have it now! =o
I also have wifi hurrah. By the way if anyone wants me to visit their town or they want to visit my crappy town (trust me you don't) My friend code is 1632-6992-6031 I have oranges as my native fruit so if anyone wants some to plant in their town tell me and I'll bring some over. I hope some of you have wifi. D= |
RE: Animal Crossing DS
I have wifi, my friend code is 3522-4800-0571, but we both have to be playing at the same time in order for a visit to occur. Hit me up on AIM or send a PM for whatever other messenger you use.

Animal Crossing is strangely addictive...and imagine how much more addictive it will be with online play...
I just can't wait to buy it. |
I don't understand. I have never played Animal Crossing. >__>
|
Animal Crossing is just one of those games that is awesomely fun for no discernable reason.
I still don't want a DS, though, but this is definitely a reason to get one. |
Don't hate on DS, it's really the best handheld system out there.
PS Blitz came to my town and it was freaking awesome. |
We need more people to join this animal crossing frenzy =o

Imagine the most replayable game in the world. A game that takes so long to "beat everything" that it could take you at least 3 or 4 years. Every day you load the game in, something new is happening, and there's new things to do.
