Blender 3D

I just started using Blender 3D yesterday. I was just wondering if anybody else has used/uses it. If anyone is proficient in this tool, please let me know in case I have any questions about it. I might post some screen shots of what I've made so far (in the future).

RE: Blender 3D

Yeah, Blender is great for being free and all, but I can't figure out how the hell to use it.
My friends have made some cool sword models with it..

Blender has got to be the WORST 3d modelling prog hands down. I mean yeah its cool if you love advanced math to line thing sup perfectly and if you know who to program in python or feel like hunting scripts. Wings 3d - not THATS where its at especially for a beginner. Besides, Wings is free and its a major competitor to a lot of things Like 3ds. I will post some of the things I've done in Wings in a new thread as well as my other works.

As for blender with sword models, its pretty basic to do swords in any model program, usually a pre-novice task. The texturing is what will make those. For all intents and purposes, most normal people have dropped blender from their use list. Its a tedious program to use and its currently underdevelop;ed when compared to many other free model progs. If you can figure it out, great, but I'd strongly suggest something more solid and real world compatible.
