some abstract for the trend whores

Normally this is not really my style but as everybody and their mothere here seems to be into the abstract thing I decided to make a minor stab it it and this is what was produced. some geometry modelled and rendered in maya then plenty of color adjustments and such in photoshop.

they look like penguins...
Anyways, nice job.

Nice composition. The hues complement each other well and are very pleasing to the eye. The bright line works as a very nice leading line to the people at the bottom.

My only complaint is the 'bubbly' part of the light beam. It's far too large and distracting to the eyes and pulls away from the focus of the piece.

Woah.

Porgy is like....Some kinda awesome dude in disguise as a fool.

Consider me a fan. <3

That's pretty cool. Aperson said what I was going to say, and I'll add that the upper right hand corner seems way too busy in that sense for anyone to really want to move down in the piece. Zildjian talked about a couple "monks" in there and I wondered where they were, because I really wasn't interested in moving away from that certain spot.
Still, it looks cool. You going to keep doing that?

no, it was just a stab in that direction. I just dont get much jollies off this kind of art. I prefer more experimental work.

I'd like it if it were a little sharper. It's too blurry, IMO.

Good job, though.

most of my mork tends to be heavy on the blurs. I like them.

=O

Good work.

The top part is a bit distracting though.

Awesome none-the-less.
