ITT People underestimate Mid D6, I can guess between 5 and 6, cynthia doesnt much cygnify a mid d6 score and I dont recognise mooost of the scores, but I was PAing cynthia in d4.... and cynthia is prolly an easy AAA for mid d6 and if not stepmania d6 must be easy

as a middlish-high d6 player that has developed a physical skillset predominantly through playing for passes, then high-70% -> low-80% scores up until low-mid d5, I can somewhat confirm this - I will however note that my cynthia blackflag is a 90p score, as opposed to OP's 29p which is remarkably better

within the scope of stepmania, divisions are an intersubjective metric that primarily serve to encompass skill growth almost exclusively under the context of cutting-edge wife/DP AA scores

taking that into consideration, I would therefore advise against attempting to gauge accuracy score based progress through a metric that is by no means geared towards evaluating that given portion of physical skillsets at all... which also means that choof pretty much nailed it in some capacity as there is only so much mileage that you can get out of extrapolation in that regard anyway

that being said @A2P, I believe that you fall under the realm of high d5... as d6 would be too generous an estimate given your lack of cutting-edge wife/DP AA scores

don't interpret that as a bad thing at all though - cynthia and squartatrice are actually really fucking good, and even contemporary low d7 stepmania players are incapable of coming even remotely close to matching those

accuracy meta is still very much important in spite of its recent under-representation, keep up the good stuff my meng

>applying ffr divisions to stepmania

why do people do this when they're two different games of the same genre

for example, I've always been d5 on ffr due to my lack of speed, stamina, and combo consistency, but on stepmania I have accuracy of a d7 player apparently. huge difference, but this is overall due to my complete and utter disinterest in playing ffr and adapting. frankly, I couldn't agree more with this post

not to downplay you or your scores at all, ayytwopee. keep in mind, accuracy players are extinct at this point and I greatly respect that skill set you've got
