Between the harsh jacks, 360 streams, and 270 jumpstreams/polyrhythms, I can't tell which part of YU is the hardest for the top players because all parts wreck me.

@Remaining players in D7: which part *is* the hardest for you?

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 7

The trills that transition into the split rolls for me. I just find them super awkward to hit consistently. The really long jack into the 32nd stream near the end has ruined a couple of AAA runs for me as well. Rest of the file isn't all that bad tbh. If the runs were longer, then maybe the 32nd patterns would be an issue.

Nothing jumps out at me as the worst, but the coloured trills with interspersed rolls are most likely to fuck me over because of all the interesting transitions.

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 7

That part used to have the split rolls as trills as well. That was even worse. Felt like trying to hit a 180bpm jumpjack at the end of each trill.
So then I made them spin rolls, which was easier to transition into but literally worse than Hitler to transition out of - each one ended in a 121 or 434 one-handed pattern.
Finally I tried split rolls, and they're still pretty "interesting." But it's hard to come up with a more intuitive way of stepping that sound, it's very trill-y.
Moral of the story is that trills that change speed are pretty cancer no matter how you step them. Capoeira Sundance!

Coming in here to say D7 looks like someone went in a step editor and was like "Wow, fart noises sounds kind of neat, let me just put all these 1234 1324 rolls with jumps in the middle of them to simulate the farts

I look back at the previous files' discussions for 5 mins only to come back and see everyone rambling about Odd22.

OH DEAR GOD HELP ME

e: more Kurorak? For D6, I'd assume? Is that all the hullaboo behind call me it. not being the final? Well then...
e2: wait that's only D5?? And odd22's only d6??
