Learning to Solo

So randomly decided to play solo the other day. I basically have no experience in it aside from playing a few easy files back when KBO started up (so like 6 years ago?)

Anyway, none of these are super impressive scores or anything, but I just kind of want to share my progress and who knows, maybe get some others into playing again or new players into it. When it comes to the harder files I'm mostly just shooting for passes, I'll work on better MA later.

good to see more people getting back into 6key again. keep it up

I'm trying to get back into it by playing every few days because I'm most likely compiling another 6key pack (actually just stopped playing my session for the day before posting).

AJ started playing again because I started up, apparently he's gotten some good scores lately but I wouldn't really know what's good in the solo world haha.

No miss run on Cross Time is pretty nice. All of the As are reasonably good too, Rockhill stands out to me the most because it's really solid pattern practice and is a good mix of just about everything with regards to streaming.

A pass on Lune Noir just starting out is impressive, but a pass on Kil Stage just starting out is pretty fucking stupid, haha.

I think you could improve some of those Bs to As with a bit or practice: you should work on Girls & Boys & Toys some more because it's my file and it's awesome (that and it's good cohesion practice with smooth patterning overall).

hey now, GB&T is not my only solo file, it's just my only really well known one, aha.

there's also zl and Explosive, and... I think my very first solo charts ever made, Chimera and DJ Otada (one of those variants, not sure if Caprice of DJ Otada or just the original) were in another one of those community compilations that was running around...

... would be interesting to get those last two back, hmmmm...
