1 Year
So as of very soon i will have been playing FFR for 1 year exactly. (.99 years) as of this post. Now I don't know for certain, but i feel very accomplished having reached D5 in 1 year. But really I want D7 like errybody else..So whats the fastest ever player to reach D7 because I want a practical time to achieve that goal.

Re: 1 Year
Most likely mina. He played 500K+ keytaps per day at one point.

Re: 1 Year
Rapta

Re: 1 Year
Yeah Mina had said he got to D7 in like a year. That's the fastest I've heard of yet.

Re: 1 Year
I went from D5 to D7 in a year, but I don't know if Mina went from D1 to D7 in a year.

Re: 1 Year
i got to d1-d7 in a year in 2012-2013
it just requires being focused and playing to improve most often people playing ffr don't play at the right difficulties and challenge themselves enough to improve at the fastest rate they can that all being said it shouldn't take more than 2 years imo if you're at least partially improvement-minded |

It's taken me roughly 3 years to improve from D3 to "D7" (some might not consider myself officially there) and it would be beneficiary to discuss with someone in the caliber of Rapta/Mina for their perspective on how they improved. Dell went from D6 to D7 remarkably fast (not as fast as those players) and iirc he now mains Stepmania so talking to him would probably help. I honestly think discussing with anyone above your current skill level would help in your understanding of how to improve; and with so many inputs with different players you could pick whichever situation seems viable for you or exhibits the same methods that you had already planned on undergoing. |

Re: 1 Year
This score was right around my year anniversary..
This too: Keep in mind that's in 2006 when only a couple people were AAing it |
Re: 1 Year
If I'm not wrong I got from D1 to D7 from april - december 2014/january 2015 (about 8 months)
Pretty much what you have to do is always play stuff out of your comfort zone (i mean, you dont need to make it not fun) and pay attention when you're playing to make sure you're not mashing your way through, its by doing the patterns right that you'll get better the fastest. Try playing songs with really bad patterns too, that helps a lot for finger/hand independency, especially when you try your best to do the patterns as clean as possible. Pretty much what ilikexd already said, just be motivated about improving and you will improve fast, it's not too hard once you know how it works. |
Re: 1 Year
