EYE HAEV NET PORBLEM
See, on my new computer, which is good, and Dell, the internet suddenly started sputtering. Then it stopped.
I have no idea why. HELP PLZ. And I'm on my oldschool AMD one right now. Wut wut. |
Your computer is possessed!
|
Probably because your in a thunderstorm lol.
|
Oh yeah, that might be it too. I know charter farts a lot in thunder storms.
|
Delete Norton.
And if this is a fake problem... OLOLOLASDFSDAF ~Squeek |
F Disk that bitch back to the stone age. It's the only way.
|
Did teh dell guy hide his weed in your CD drive?
|
This is actually not a joke.
The internet worked fine for like 8 hours, then it started locking up, sputtering. Thyen it stopped. I used the same cable and stuff on my old computer (I just switched back), and it works fine on this one. So I think it COULD be either a Virus or a Net Card Problem. Probably the latter. Specs: 3.0ghz, 1024 RAM, Nvidia Videocard of some sort. Audigy Soundblaser Sound card, I think. Ethernet card. I am using High0Speed Comcast Cable, and a Linksys LAN system. Help, please. |
well call geeks or us
|
See if you can dodge highway trafiic.
|
It's because it's not a Mac.
|
If you have norton, uninstall it.
If not, I have no clue. |
I repeat my previous statement: Delete Norton. I just bought a new dell as well and had the exact same problem. Norton Internet Security makes your computer so internet secure that YOU CAN'T EVEN GET ONLINE.

I don't have Norton. I don't have any virus deleting program (other than adaware 6.0...but that doesn't count).
I am really stumped about this one. My dad had the same problem, And he said it basically solved itself after a few days. However the fuck THAT works. |
your computer was on crack =>
|
F Disk is the real man's way.
Just make sure you still have your Win XP(if thats your Windows program) Installation cds handy. |
Why did you waste those sweet sweet specs on a Dell instead of building your own and saving money is waht I wanna know.
OH yeah, I say try another browser, check all your lan settings, and if it doesn't solve itself in a few days lke your dad said, fdisk taht bitch. |
Its not the browser, the whole INTERNET (AIM, everything) is down down down. And I don't wanna f-disk.
...Plus I got it for free, cause I rock. |
LEGO - I don't know what this bad rap Dell's been getting is all about. I got my computer that should have cost 2,000 for 1300 something. And it owns yours and basically everybody else's here so hard.
Qreepy - can you access the router... or do you have one? When I had the problem it wouldn't even let me access the router, but I could ping. ~Squeek |
run the chk dsk program to fix errors...if not then i dunnow
