If people are AAAing later rounds, that's because they got better... the tournament is doing exactly what it's supposed to, rewarding the people who put in the effort to improve a lot.

p.s the fact you are 7th place out of 69 people in D4 pretty clearly indicates to everyone that you are NOT D3 rofl what kind of "jacked" reasoning gave you that conclusion?

i will more than gladly state my case on a different messaging platform where i can easily convey my meaning and reasoning with you to not clutter the forum up with incessant posts featuring back and forth quibbling, though in short i will say that "rewarding the people who put in the effort to improve a lot" is extremely jacked because the number of how many different ways different people manage to improve themselves at this game (and others) varies drastically. how i play ffr regularly and when i am pushing myself to improve involves me hitting random on a 50-65 filter, and slowly if ever upping the numbers over weeks or months of play because of my own physical/mental limitations and capabilities that i'm comfortable with having.

What I'm reading here is "I'm bad at anything higher than 65 and I'm trying to get better but not as hard as other people in my division, but I want to win anyway"

p.s LOL "my physical/mental limitations" MAH CONDISHUNS STOP OPPRESSING ME WHITE CIS TOURNAMENT ORGANIZER SHITLORDS are you even serious its an elimination tournament the files are meant to push your limitations

So you propose what? Just handing out prizes at the start based on how good you are?

Tournament's over guys, samurai won everything.
You can go home now.

also, 6"4" to a 73? Put me in D3 next time so I can actually get through the songs maybe? whoever considers me D4 needs to explain their reasoning to me, it's kinda jacked

I've been in D4 ever since I've SDG'd a 60, you, especially having not been eliminated in the first or second round, are definately D4. In fact, the top eight are usually D5 by the end from how much they have improved over the course of the tournament.

You're high D4.

everyone has limitations and capabilities
if you're that buttfrustrated about getting fuckin dunked on, maybe you should take it easy (stop playing) or go hard in the paint (play harder)

this is an elimination tournament. do what you need to do in order to beat the other players. aside from botting ofc

And the ones who do it the best win the prize. That's the idea behind this tournaments. Try looking into what you're doing to improve.

You went really far there, but I do agree:

I don't believe this at all. If you're playing very regularly and not seeing measurable improvement, you're not doing it the right way. I've said it before, and I will say it again -- those who work hard in the official, and I mean really work hard, beyond just the scope of mindlessly grinding on their song praying for a better result (like figuring out what you're bad at, improving at it, and applying it) are usually the ones that get commended.

You were placed in D4, have made it past the round that was rated a 64, and you said that you were playing 50-65 filter at random: guess what -- you're not playing hard enough. Once you saw your D4 placement, you should have looked at the song list, noticed how high D4 ends up by end of tournament, and practiced up to there and even higher.

It's a very blunt response, but realize that you're not fooling anyone.

I really hope Masq is trolling.. You're clearly D4. Look at me, i lost skill because i stopped playing. I'm not complaining that i basically got last in D7. You just have to give it your best and have fun. No need for complaining when you reach a round that proves more difficult for you. Just play and have fun, this is your chance to skill boost. This is competition. This is sparta!!!!
