TWG CVI: Postgame

WOLVES WIN

20 players (5 alternates)

Day Phase Start.

Insta: ON
Night Talking: ON
Cardflips: ON
In-Thread Talk Only: ON

48 hour day phases
24 hour night phases

Rules

Anytime:

- Players can send a PM guessing which player leads a nation. If they guess correctly, their target dies. If they guess incorrectly, they die. The kill will happen immediately, NOT the end of the phase. One kill per person per day phase.
- If a player fails to post during a day phase, they have a 75% chance of getting killed. If a player only posts once during a day phase, they have a 25% chance of getting killed. Posting 2 or more posts during a phase will keep you safe.
- A no-lynch can be reached if less then 50% of remaining players fail to vote.
- If there is no insta-lynch, the nation with the majority of votes will be destroyed (as long as more then 50% of players have voted)

Roles:

Head Terrorist Nation: Will appear as Green to a seering. Casts final vote when destroying a nation.

Roleblocker Nation: During each night, the Roleblocker Nation will choose a nation to prevent their action from occurring.

Usurper Nation: Attempts to overthrow the Head Terrorist Nation. No other Terrorist nations know who the Usurper is. Can only win if Terrorists win with the Head Terrorist dead.

Terrorist Nation x2: Evil nation supporting the Head Terrorist Nation.

Paranoid Nation (1-shot Vigilante): Unlike a normal Vigilante, this nation cannot choose who to use its power on. The first nation to use any action on this nation will be destroyed immediately. (If wolf targets, both wolf and PN will die)

Vengeful Nation (1-shot Vigilante): A vengeful nation has a one-shot destroy that can be used only after being lynched.

World Health Organization (Doctor): Will choose a nation to protect during the night. This can be done every night.

Department of Peacekeeping Operations (Seer): Will choose a nation to inspect during the night to find out if they are a Nation, or Terrorist. This can be done every night.

Allied Nations x2 (Mason): Two nations that know each other to be Nations.

Hostile Nation (Miller): A nation that will reveal to the seer as a Terrorist.

Nations x8 (Vanilla Townies): Nations whose votes are their powers.

#. Alt 3 (Put in game)
#. Alt 4 (Opted out)
#. Alt 5 (Put in game)

Summary:

Pretty much day 1 was a slaughter-fest. Everyone died. Then as day by day went, the humans got less and less powerful as the reds were able to control a majority of the green votes. Through some cunning plays, the reds were able to take a sweeping victory over the greens with two guess killings during night 3. Wolves win.

MVP:

Kayla - AKA TWG United States. I am very very impressed with her play-style. She fooled almost everyone. Her leadership and research for guessing players was something I am awe of. She is going to be a very, very scary player in the upcoming games.

Player Guesses:

Greece guessed South Korea
Spain guessed Saudi Arabia
Australia guessed France incorrectly (Halogen)
United States guessed Canada
United States guessed Egypt
Scotland guessed Italy

Damn I confused Kayla for Aj.

That being said, I've got a much better grasp how the game plays now aside from the side reading I did. Hopefully I'll be more helpful in the near future.

Also Xiz, curse you for getting me into this.

GG guys, thanks for making the one where you killed me super early a quick one ^^

I followed the thread afterword and gotta say GG wolves. USA/Germany was a great combination and they both played very well. Anonymous games are fun!

I hope you guys enjoyed this game, sorry if I got pissy during replacements. By the way, that is something I kinda wanna open up to the public. What are thoughts about penalties for those who skip out on games?

Might be a good idea but at the same time if something legitimately comes up I don't think we'd want to punish that person.

On the game itself I really enjoyed playing this. Getting to be anon I think helped me break into the game better. This game also made me dig back into old threads and start to get a better feel on how the game is played. I'll definitely play more in the future.

Re: TWG CVI: Postgame

I'll start off what I thought about you guys now, was fun for my first wolf game and I swear I'll finally read an OP correctly one day.

YMIA: Pretty afk for the most part, you were considered a roleblock target night one just because we thought it was safe. Not a lot to say about you, hope you find the time to play again.

j-rodd123: Lol 1 post, yeah, being a replacement into a game like this sucks, I understand your apathy.

mellon: I don't even know how we managed to get you lynched Day One, I forget what started it... or how it went through... or how I only got a tiny bit of heat for it... also, sorry about your hands :(

afrobean: What the hell, does my play seem like TC_Halogen's to you? You gotta work on controlling those emotions, sending in a guess just because you're frustrated with my gameplay is not how you play TWG. I know you're a much better player than this.

Untimely Friction: Honestly, you somehow managed to be more of a loose cannon than I was. Would've been interesting to see you stick around, as I think you would've gotten a lot of heat. People just kinda forgot about how suspicious you were after you were replaced. Join another game if you can find the time :-D

KgZ: Good roleplay, sorry you got sick.

Xx{Fallen}xX: Glad you got some experience, see you next game.

Gradiant: UGHHHHHHHHHH WHY DIDN'T I KILL YOU?! I'll be honest, I thought I had to be alive when the wolves won for me to win with them, or else you would've died night one. WP staying UTR throughout the game though. A very nice wolf game

TPS222: I'm really surprised someone didn't guess you earlier, it was pretty obvious to me who you were. I think, had there been a Day Four, it would've been either you or PA on the stool.

Yoshl: I swear you were nicer this game, it totally confused me that you died Day Two, I really was thrown off by that, mainly because Kayla didn't tell me she killed you :(. You had a rather impressive early game, and you made things happen. I think the game would've been a lot different had Kayla not found you out.

XelNya: Welcome to TWG. You had rather impressive reads for your first game, much to my surprise. You had some honestly bad posts on the first day, but improved as the game went on. You were veeery quickly lynched Day Three, and I would've liked to have seen how you defended yourself. Play another game sometime.

Velocity: Don't cheat plz. 3 rules broken Day One is pretty hilarious though.

Guest: WHY DIDN'T YOU CLAIM MASON AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! That out of the way, I don't think its "impossible" for humans to win on FFR. It happens often enough, wolves are on a rather impressive streak since revival, however. Rather strange style, and you attracted a lot of heat from Manti. The frame job on you was rather obvious, and you did a nice job of defending yourself in that aspect.

notcommentingonmyselfbecauseobvious.

Emerald: Middie and you were the only ones who had me pegged right. GJ being the only thing that really stopped me this game. Look forward to seeing a vet like you in some more upcoming games, and sorry about the emotion after Yoshl died, just part of TWG.

FontSize: A decent first game, I expected you to be wolfed Night Two after you had a really nice post and named 2/3 wolves, with suspicions of the final. Really would've liked to see you finish the game out, as I think you could've influenced the final lynch. I think you should've claimed blue to have given yourself more influence, especially considering your power was gone.

Mea: Glad you had fun in your short time, see you around maybe?

Kayla: What can I say that hasn't been said. I preemptively wrote you down as the MVP and gave the wolves a victory in the History Synopsis of this game after you died. I was thoroughly impressed, and I guess we know who wears the TWG-Pants in your family

dAnce: You're a much better human than you are anything else. Your strategy itself was sound, and I could just *feel* that someone was going to change their vote over to you Day One, you were just a better lynch than mellon was. You just had a really unlucky game, as always when you're the seer haha.

Halogen: Sucks you went out the way you did. Maybe you'll get to play for longer than 2 seconds next game. I'd like to see what you can do, as your two games have hardly given us an example of your play.

V: You can't hide who you are apparently. You had me pegged down Day One, so it was really nice that dAnce killed you for me. <3. Had that not happened, this game would've been VERY different, as I know you wouldn't have let Kayla or myself get away with running the game.

Charu: You are CURSED! I swear it. Next game, buddy. You were wolfed just because all of us were sure that you weren't Paranoid.

Funny: Bleh, I did the same thing my second game on FFR, defended wolves, fought the blues. That being said, you and England should've claimed around the same time that Russia/Finland should've, you guys might've gotten more done that way. Your leadership was impressive, and I was rather surprised to see that Kayla had figured you out.

Manti: Your scope of England was off, but you were persistent. I should've known that you were Iran, with how you absorbed information all game.

All in all, gg, still kicking myself that I didn't kill you Jake <3

Huh, well that makes me a little sad. I thought I was actually somewhat of a threat and that's why you picked, maaaaaaan.

Next game, tho... Next game.
