I wasn't a huge fan of the season premiere, but the 2nd episode was very good. The writing is still pretty terrible all around now, but the relationship between vogel(a bit of a deus-ex-machina) and dexter is interesting enough to keep me watching until it ends.

@Syhto: Nah its pretty bad especially coming off the terrific season of Hannibal that just aired.

I'm glad they got rid of Maria Laguerta. I didn't like her from the get-go. Too bad they didn't clude the cop that sided with Laguerta to blame Deb for the debacle in the club.
