a few critiques
Ghosts - I was looking for something a bit more...haunted, ethereal, not sure what to say. use a cleaner font, image is fantastic but needs much much less saturation. artist name isn't needed in banner because the song title is so long
XTREMEPOLESTA - lol
The Cataclysm - looks great but I wish the text were a little sharper, maybe even a little bouncier
Lewd Violence - add an X-MOD symbol in the banner and it's perfect

.~|||.-Spitfire-.|||~.,

everything you noted about my fonts happened because i put them under some of the layers composing the image to make them more "integrated" in the background. the only real mistake is in guitar hero, where i used free transform after the image was rasterized, making it a little blurry towards the right. everything else was a matter of personal preference. i.e. lataia is perfectly readable, the inconsistent glow was intentional and i purposely looked for the thinnest font possible.

The fact that I think the font is not that well readable makes it not "perfect" already but I agree, the font choice itself is more personal preference. However, the inconsistent glow does distract which is a bad thing to have.
Now obviously there's a bit of personal preference involved in everything regarding graphic design as there's no definitive right or wrong way to do something but things like the inconsistent gradient and color change between banner and background of dengeki tube is not ok to do. It's a small issue but if you blow it out, it's essentially the same as having 2 different styles of icons for example, which takes away the familiarity between icons. Obviously it's not as huge as that but it's still an issue that improves graphics when fixed.

My issue with your explanations though is that you merely state what you did, not why. Ex:
-"the inconsistent glow was intentional"
-"i purposely looked for the thinnest font possible"

Ok sure, those two statements are fact, but why did you do these things? Because I see no convincing reason to do this right now.

edit: I actually didn't even notice that error in Guitar Hero, but that's more of a graphic glitch btw while things like inconsistency are fundamental flaws.
editappend: now that I took another look at it, I see the blurriness but it actually gives a sense of depth (camera focus etc) so that particular error is not bothering at all. Like bob ross would say, it's a happy accident

edit2: there's also no point in explaining how something happened the way it did. In the case someone gives criticism, it's the endresult that matters, not the process.

I was just pointing out that i made a test, the result looked okay, so i left it that way. Yes, i was not actively looking for that specific effect, but once it happened it sit well for me. I apreciate the feedback, really, and i will surely keep it in mind for next professional work i will do, but right now i was just shitting out stepmanier graphics as fast as i could. I noticed these inconsistencies too, but since correcting them was not worth the time as they were already ok and they satisfied me enough, i decided to move on :)

I think it would be better to remove that ellipse while keeping the "SKoR" you wrote which is very great.

Yeah, it came off a bit rude. The B is the same font as the D for our baseball team, and I'm not a fan of sports, or Detroit. Fuck both of them.

I did that already, like 30% of the image buffered before it stopped. maybe it's corrupted?
