Dunno but he's been doing it for years (necros)

edit: both look sexy but the flashbulb is a bit hard to read on both sets.

yeah, i learned how to use photoshop only to make stepmania graphics and after 10 years, even if i work in the design and print field it's still what i can do better, lmao.

I can read them perfectly on my screen but maybe there is some different setting, dunno, either way no time and a lot of gfx to make so D:

Nice aliasing on the script text necros.

Isn't there too much contrast on dancingbox? also, the song does not really call for a random abstract gfx imo :(

moches 01-19-2013 02:56 AM

Re: The FFR Compilation Pack needs your ~artistic~ power! (Yes, credits are involved.

contrast is off, but I like the text effect and the color scheme

maybe integrating some more hip-hop imagery (like a rapper lol) would help

ALRIGHT LISTEN UP

As we're (nearly) entering the final phase of graphics making, Mr. Necros has kindly offered to take over graphics production. He'll be posting a new thread soon. In the meantime, continue to post your work here and we'll move it over into the new thread soon.

I'd just like to thank all of the community members here chipping in: you guys mever fail to astound me, seriously. :)

I felt like making one for lovely bloodflow as well because I had a cool idea portraying the bloodflow part of the title so here it is:

I'll see if I can do some more as well.
I really like the graphics of masodik galamb and amber shores btw but the text is a bit hard to read in amber shores. Same with the text in Lawn Wake III except not so much (only the "L" in Lawn and the "The F" in The Flashbulb) because it fades into the background rather than stand out. Also the contrast in that dancing box graphics set is way too high and as a whole doesn't really fit the song dancing box imo.

There seems to be a row of pixels missing in "Lovely Bloodflow" and it stands out. As for Dancingbox, I'll scrap the gfx for something else later and do something different.

Indeed, it's like a 1px underline. Odd.

Regardless I feel overall: Necros > SF > me for Lovely bloodflow gfx. Once again, Mr. Spitfire's picture definitively looks really nice but strays a bit too far from the calm, downtempo feel of the song and gives off a more ominous vibe, even though it has soft colors surrounding the bloodflow, it feels still more like a metal song bg to me. shrugs.

while artistic interpretation may vary, the official video does a very nice job of capturing the songs feel:
