You're not ready yet, first you must endure the gumdrop forest.

In for D5 on my downscroll account.

Level ranks: DD_Halogen

I play downscroll as a hobby and I rather enjoy it. Every single score here is on downscroll.

I'll be doing an update in less than an hour.

In the mean time enjoy one of my new gifs.

The OP is up to date to here. Please remember to read the note under division placements and keep questions related to placements to PMs or skype. Thank you.

Also I'm a nice guy. This is the range of what you can expect difficulty wise. But, this does not mean you can say for sure all of these will be used at all. I've changed the numbers to be a wider range than what is actually going to be used. Consider this the treat before I trick all of you.

D1: 20 - 40
D2: 40 - 60
D3: 55 - 75
D4: 55 - 79
D5: 75 - 88
D6: 80 - 92

Also, in case you have a problem with me giving you this range for practice purposes, allow me to explain why I'm comfortable giving you this in the first place.

There's a lot of charts that I could have picked in all these ranges. So, there's no way to accurately figure out the chart list. So no one person gains anymore advantage off this other than what they gain by practicing within their given range. While my goal is to push you, I also understand that these songs are rather difficult. Trust me. They're actually in some spots pretty unreasonable. So to make it more reasonable, I'm giving you the chance to prepare. I feel this is fair. If you take advantage of it, this is at your own choice and discretion.

Haha I didn't expect to be put in D6. I also just started practicing again. Seems like taking a break from FFR to practice MA on SM actually is making me worse on FFR.

I said I made it hard. And there's clearly a reason for me to give you an idea of where you're beginning.

D5 to me is more about the test of how you handle the hardest things. The separation of D4 - D5 to me is the "FGO" scores. So, D5 is playing a lot more Guru charts.

If you sit down for a good SM warm up then play on FFR for like 30 minutes, at least in my case, the warm up will make you seem to perform above your norm.

Or at least I think that's how it works for me.

Now that I look at it, everyone seems really concerned, which makes me worried that it might be - to - hard.

Also I didn't look at your stats when picking, but I think I chose well.

You are trying to push people's limits, so I wouldn't worry about that too much.

As far as I'm concerned, bring it on. I've been playing a crap load of StepMania recently and I'm ready to see how far this takes me in the tournament!

I don't really play tournaments. But what makes somebody a D6 player? I was really expecting to be D5 after being D4 in the recent official tournament.
I'm not complaining or asking for a switch; I just want to understand the distinction between these divisions.

usually, a few FGO AAAs, mid FGO SDGs, etc.. makes a D6 player
where FGO = 78+

Re: Midnight's Jack-The-Ripper Tourney

Nope, FGO = 77+ and sometimes just an FGO flag is enough to bump
