It is extremely rare to find a dedicab that's for sale nowadays. There are brand new itg2 machines that aren't dedicabs that go around for $4000-$6000 dollars but that's about it.

If you live in US or Canada, yeah you could probably find a dedicab for about 3k to 5k but if you live anywhere else, I'd say get a ddr cabinet under 2k and put openITG in it.
Custom pad is probably your last bet if you can't find either of those.

Re: ITG/DDR Scores

Hahahahaha good luck finding anything for 3k... Be ready to pay at least 5k, and dont expect the machine to be in great condition unless youre buying it from a well known player, in which case itll probably cost even more. Plus transportation will run you another like, $1000.

The process is miserable.

umm... no you can get a crappy dedicab for slightly over 3k
fixing it will cost a bit but not more than 1k...

and why would transportation be that much? It's not an oversea shipping.

Honestly I'd rather just spend money on a good pad if it was available instead of having a huge machine; pads > machine for me

I could have gotten my dedicab for 100$ at the auction I bought it at, but one person (and only one person) go into a bidding war with me :(

I'm not sure if you knew about the vaughan mills nascar speedpark dedi but we made a deal for 3.5k but the nascar speedpark moved to a different location. Now they have lego land and I have no clue where it went :( I didn't pay though which is good.

It cost me $1000 to fly to Ohio, and rent a Uhaul truck(gas included) and drive it back to Georgia.

Nice scores everyone. Dragon you can definitely get Wheelpower, you just need to chill enough in the beginning to have the energy to push through the middle runs.

This made me mad, the great wasn't even in any of the harder parts.

2fat4speed. Actually passed it though, but it's the lowest score I've ever gotten on a song ever.

I posted a score on this song awhile back. There's a decently long ~140bpm 32nd stream and I only had the stamina for an 89% the last time I tried it. I got this at the end of my day while I was tired, so I'm feeling good about my stamina.

I don't really know how to feel about this. Either I'm just being fat and lazy 95% of the time or this isn't as hard of a 15 as people say it is... probably Column A, Column B. Would like to hear some opinions on it.

Exactly this... those are hematomas under your nail. It's from the top of your toe constantly impacting the front of your shoe. I could see this happening from 2 ways: either your shoes are too small and its just a constant pressure affecting them, or your shoes may have too much toe room and during playing your feet are sliding in them, causing the nail to keep getting rammed into the front. In any case the shoes you have now aren't working (though you probably guessed that).

Not to turn this into a shoe thread, but I've never had problems with my Mizuno Wave Universe 4's. Ridiculously lightweight, and the shoe body is basically cloth so it doesn't rub anywhere. They've also lasted me for a solid 2 years with minimal wear. Also, since they've recently released the Universe 5, you can pick up a pair of 4's for like $50.00 on some sites. I'm not sure if the difference from a more weighted shoe would throw you off, but I adjusted well enough.

Kibblre 09-18-2013 03:21 PM

Re: ITG/DDR Scores

Speaking of shoes, I improved quite a bit when I switched from heavier tennis shoes to running shoes. I got a pair of Brooks Pure Flow. They're pretty damn light and they grip just enough to both not slide and not get stuck on pads.

Imma gonna advertise the mizuno wave universe 4's as well, the lightweightness is just too useful. The day I first used them was literally the day I beat Sounds of Life, it makes a massive difference to your ability at the game. They're especially useful if your gonna no bar or do a whole bunch of crossovers like you do dossar :D.

Anyways
@Mollo I actually know a song you did! That zanarkand night is really great, I think you can improve your FA from what I see from you on other songs but nearly FECing that is hard, good job :D.

@Dark I think World Sound is really hard, but I think the gap between stamina 15 and stamina 16 should be a little closer together than it is too. If your gonna compare it to stuff like sounds of life or gate openerz or something, yeah it's like a mid 15 but I always thought those should just be 16's instead and move the gap closer. Your right though as the ratings go it's probably a 15. Still that's an amazing score, you destroyed mine on it haha. Your better than I was even when I was good, keep it up Dark!

@Aoreo nooooo it's good that your always posting in here. I was so glad to see one of the greats at this game posting in this thread, and glad to see you kept it up (and in turn kept this thread up). I'd be sad if you stopped :(.
