FUCK THE SCORE ! ! !

Haha holy shit

Also when I played again today I tried Paranoia Survivor Max Heavy and that extra speed is really taxing fuckkk. My heavy score is only a little better than my challenge score; I'd even say heavy is an 11

On to the no bar scores:

Pad bullshit

Pad bullshit x3, decided to use stock mods but that's totally arbitrary for this file lol. This was the run I got on video.

Candles at the end are too fast. The beginning also has those annoying minijacks into the jumps.

Got this on video too, god dammit

Also screamed on my Let Them Move file that's crossover stream for basically the entire song on video

Re: ITG/DDR Scores

So nobar really helped me with my form. Back in my earlier sessions when I played bar if I tried going up to a higher speed I'd go what Chino describes as a "super saiyan transformation" where I went too fast for like 8 notes, then I'd lock up and get a bunch of misses and my score would be very messy if I passed. Today I did short bursts of 155-160 BPM 16ths nobar, only like 1-4 measures each time throughout the song, and when I went back to bar I could control the speed a lot more comfortable (there's a lot of pad BS though, I get like twice as many boos as misses)

Right now I warm up with 110-125 BPM crossovers nobar, go into 130-135 BPM stream nobar, then keep going up until I ease my way into 160. It's working pretty well; nobar is actually really good for warming up and getting form back together.

tl;dr I'm taking whey protein after every session. I try to play every day, warming up nobar and then going to bar. Speeds I can do nobar transfer nicely to bar play.

Edit: This is what I mean by boo crap from my pad. There's definitely some kind of overlapping wire beneath the panels or something, but I'll see how this goes for a little bit.

These are just my practice files with 16th streams and break sections.

160 BPM

156 BPM

So for anyone who hasnt seen Brute Force from Tachyon Epsilon....22 footer.

Ending stream : 64 measures of candlestream...at 250. Lol.

Also another 22 footer with multiple long streams, the ending one being candlestream 32 measures at 260.

Re: ITG/DDR Scores

That makes a 22? In that case Perpetuum Mobile is easily a 22

X Soldier Storm 1.1 would easily be at least a 22 then because I had way more trouble passing that than Perpetuum Mobile

And there is another 22 footer with tons of run at 250. And another 22 footer with tons of run at 250. And the pack might include a 23 footer with even more run at 250. And there might be a chart in the pack even harder than that.

It'll be out in approx 2 weeks.

Welcome to ffr Matt!
Hope to see you post more scores here.

Anyways, I played itg today.

Sightread. Lazy play but I shouldn't have cmodded this but I don't really care about 11~13 footer scores lol.

Another lazy pass. I was aiming for a star but I started getting pad shit all over the place during the solo so I just passed it.

I think I forgot to miss one. Sorry.

A miss is always there to cheer me up.

Oh cool, not a miss.

This was kind of hard. (not rlly)

Sightread. It's really easy. Gotta man up and play the 17 one hahahaha.
Also, I think this was one of the best charts I've ever played.

Best part about that brute force vid is the dog. Speaking of the dog, how well do ITG machines mix with dogs Matt? I was thinking about getting a dog, but I don't want to end up choosing between my machine and my dog.

Also nice score mint! you could/should score higher on those 15's!

And I finally played this chart. I like it a lot besides the use of 8th note jumps. I'm probably going to whore this song out to get my 200 bpm fa back.

Sorry haha trying to count music in 4/4 when Brute Force has a strong syncopation going on is a little rough. Either way, it was a rough estimation.

I cant wait for the pack to come out. At this point, even if Im just now breaking the 16 barrier, these songs are just fun to watch and dream about playing.

Honestly the person who can determine difficulties the best is Matt himself, and at this point of time it's kinda hard to determine the gap between a 21 and a 22. He said that he's estimating to begin with.

My dog doesn't really care about it, I know other people who have had dogs and machines where the dogs didn't care, and I've never heard of anyone having a dog that did care. All dogs are different though, so its not a guarantee.

It's part of a "training pack" that I made for myself to get better at certain bpms for certain lengths of stream. You can download it here:

http://divinelegy.com/simfiles/aoreo...ing%20Pack.zip

idk if there is anything in there that you would like, but it might be worth checking out.
I also might be expanding on this pack with other songs at different bpms.

@Aoreo: 1 great on TLOM is kind of amazing actually, it's hard to hit that slowdown correctly at all. Was that on an extreme machine you were playing?

Also really nice itg scores, your speed is so ridiculous. I don't even think I could so much as see the notes on destination 1.3x rate lmao

@Mollocephalus: I never recognize any of the songs you do >.<. Though judging by the number of notes in all of your love, you're getting better at longer songs. yay xD

Anyways I just have one score, so here it is

To be honest the greats aren't really worthy of note since I'm trying to get a PFC on this, but I'm really proud of the MA. It was kinda surprising how good it was, my MA was just on point today I guess.

Here in italy we have a new handpicked selection for each tournament, which later becomes an official pack. These are files from said official packs, which members of the community take care to load inside every cabinet around the country. To put this better into context, there was a guy who made some cool modifications to the Openitg program, unabling scorebars, easy linking between two or more cabs (thus being able to play the same song), added M-Mods (can't be thankful enough for that) and other nifty stuff. Right now we're at V44 of this peculiar revision we call ITGfaith. Every ITG we have was hacked and upgraded with this program, and ever since we did this, the interest around dancing games has skyrocketed :>

Couldn't do well on 16s so I decided to play 17s. That didn't go well either so I tried playing 18s

Met up with someone who I didn't know was in Nebraska as well (Hi UN Owen!) and we played ITG n stuff. Nothing of note on the speed side of things but got some decent stamina scores.

Touch the Angel

Almost had an FC on this, but I botched the 3rd set of stutter triplets (I guess they can be called that? LRL-LRL-LRL-LRL-RLR-RLR-RLR-RLR etc) and the pad bombed during the trills in the end stream.

Programmed Sun (You're Streaming Again)

98.97 without the pad misses, rip

And for Doubles fun... Light of the World

I've gotten a better score before, but this is only my 2nd/3rd pass on this. With how long I've been out of practice for Doubles I'm pretty happy to have passed this today. First step in getting back into a fit enough shape to tackle 14s n such hopefully.

Go for Max 600!

Also I finally see myself starting to get past the 150 BPM barrier now. I'll be able to broaden my selection of songs when I can do 160+ more properly.

Passed Locked Into Phantasy again today (it basically has a 166.3 BPM 16th stream section for 35 seconds), but the tape in my camera skipped around randomly and it ruined the video.

The video for silence seems alright though. With Sony Vegas I can now show the screen and my footwork at the same time. This is 140 BPM 16th stream for 2 minutes straight -- the video run was after I attempted Self vs. Self (requested by Chino) so I already started out pretty tired, but this score is the run when I didn't start out as tired.

Also laugh at how my camera slides in silence during the song, it was in an unstable position

Nice scores Thai and Jeremy.
Today was kind of bittersweet.

my shoe got sticky in the beginning of the first run ugh. I will pass this with a 90+ tomorrow hopefully.

New chart for Speedcore 4? Kind of similar to Twincore, but the patterning is much rougher (which makes it easier for me).

Fucking finally

I also got halfway through the 2nd run in the 20 for Gaussian Mist and failed in the last measure of run before the 12ths in The Limit Does Not Exist Novice.

The bittersweet part was that my entire set was on video, but it wasn't because the camera died about 30 minutes into my set. Oh well.

All these scores really motivate me to beast harder.
Still struggling for my first 17. Maybe I should start re-passing some footspeed 16s I got ages ago :P

Funworld stuff yesterday

This file is twisty as fuck

Riverrun Humbling Allegory (second pass)

debit13's Atom Smasher file

FUCK THE SCORE!!!

Fascination Maxx Heavy pass, survived by 1/10 a lifebar. I was totally not expecting to pass this considering I had played ITG for several hours already. I had to rush most of the parts.
