Time for an update

I'm getting an actual businessfront. A real office to launch a full fledged creative agency. Soooooooo I needed to update the website, and am going to continue to update over the next few weeks, as well as get permissions from all of my recent freelance clients (got permission from HTC today, so you guys can have a look at that), and create brand new content specifically for the business.

So this is my new portfolio.

Why thank you good sir, there's a ton of other stuff of that caliber that I need release forms for :( Hopefully I can get a majority of them, or at least the really flashy ones.

Great stuff, you know your way around this shit 8-) though for me, that scroll bar with all your stuff is SUPER LAGGY, a must fix!

Also, the main HTC video plays behind any of the links to the left whenever I click them, and the popped up parts cover the video controls.

All in all though, pretty spiffy portfolio site ;)

The scroll bar with your stuff on it works amazingly! Everything you do is incredible.

I wish it worked for me ;~; maybe it's just my browser.

I don't get any lag on 3 different computers on multiple browsers. D:
Also yeah the videos play behind whatever menu you click on, but you can get rid of the menu by clicking the back button right underneath the icandi text logo, or by clicking on a new image or video.

Just some input

THe perspective on this seems a little off, I feel the back should be a little further ->

The angles looking at that just fire off alarms that make me very confused...

darkshark 11-19-2011 11:43 AM

Re: Time for an update

The perspective is perfect. There's actually no possible way it could be off >_>
It's a 3d object built in perfect symmetry. Does anyone else see what prefx sees?

prefx 11-19-2011 11:46 AM

Re: Time for an update

It also seems to me that the entire back left side is almost non-existant due to the very frontward angle, this doesn't bug me as much, but I wanna see that sick interior D=

The only thing I'm confused about is how big it is supposed to be. If its in a 3d modeler you should be able to take an birds eye view of it right?

The last thing you have to worry about ever is probably DS's perspective. Unless he like somehow screws up making a flat floor surface which is less than likely.

I thing it might be the high aperture that is throwing you off. Macro effects on large objects like (http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs71/i/20...nt-d2znu2x.jpg) can sometimes seem weird.

btw DS you are fking nuts.
now I want to get that phone and it is your fault.

round wind shield that has 2 layers and extends to either side?

or do you mean the color of the wind shield I'd say its reasonably glared.

Now that its cropped, I think i'd like it better if the focus was on the turbine instead of the curve on the side of the car tho.

who_cares973 11-19-2011 05:08 PM

Re: Time for an update

i mean the colour of the windshield and the way it appears like a graphic glitch would look when playign a game. you can see the black from the lower half of the glass on the top section thin out but then it goes to the colour of the interior which just doesnt look right

Spenner 11-19-2011 06:11 PM

Re: Time for an update

Similarities in colour values despite having different depth might make some weird shapes to be seen right off the bat, and the lighting is a little awkward, there's a lot of reflection and little shapes that might throw someone off.

Nothing wrong with the model/perspective though ;) a+

who_cares973 11-19-2011 06:25 PM

Re: Time for an update

yeh model is awesome and the perspective is nice

darkshark 11-19-2011 06:54 PM

Re: Time for an update

The window there is just reflecting the environment. The walls/ceiling are really bright on that side of the hangar so it shows up a lot more on that side of the glass.
