leveling is NOT hard btw, we are casually on our way to 30.

It's never "hard" but wait until you hit 36 and then again at 44 for significant reductions in leveling speed.

Le sigh, I've already hit this point even at Character Level 34. Over a million Character EXP needed for each level at this point onwards, and grinding that much EXP is not very amusing in any case. Thankfully it seems I still have more mainstream quests to unlock ahead of me, so at the very least I know I'll at least have some quests where I can still receive large amounts of Character EXP. Until I unlock these quests though, it'll generally be getting every repeatable quest possible (at my level obviously) and doing them all at once for a Character EXP payday, likely once a day.

After a few days' worth of a break I hit 30/26 today. Time to roll like an engineer. 8-)

Re: Eden Eternal

I've personally hit Character Level 36 myself. Time for the HUGE grinding EXP periods. I decided to roll with DPS classes for now while I work to get myself to Character Level 45 since I figured it would be easier if I did it that way. That, and I took an interest in the Illusionist class, so I'm getting my Magician to Level 30 so I can try it out.

Once I hit Character Level 45 I'll level my Cleric up to Level 40 so I can run with the Shaman class as well.

I've played for 4-5 days and I'm still at character lvl 34 -__-
Cleric takes way too long to level
le sigh

Found a leveling trick, I'll be 50 by the end of the night. I'm currently at 48.

Any of you want to help out with Vileshark HQ? Aquamarine Ch8. Let's say 12PM EST. (6 Hours from now). Just need three of you guys to help. We'll meet in front of the warp :)

What is this leveling trick you speak of? I've heard that grinding dungeons is good EXP, but I'm not necessarily a party person...

@Evnoir: I feel your pain. I know that, even after rolling with the Magician and eventually the Illusionist class, I know very well that I'm gonna have to go back and push my Cleric to Level 40 once I reach Character Level 45. Thankfully Class Levels are much easier to obtain than Character Levels (and can always be obtained while doing quests, i.e. killing quests and whatnot), so my trip from Character Level 45 to Character Level 50 could be contributed by me grinding quests and finishing leveling my Cleric to Level 40 for the Shaman class.

Though, staying an Illusionist (once I get there) is very tempting, mainly because at Level 20 they gain the ability to recover their own MP, along with being able to use said skill to recover the MP of others. Very, very useful indeed.

Basically I had someone power level my bard to 30 and then I got a bunch of fame item orange gear that had +5% on it so that I had 20% run speed without being on a mount. After that I cast the bard buff on myself and have 30% run speed. I do the level 45 dungeon solo and aggro the whole instances trash and aoe kite them to oblivion. Gain about 10% exp per run which is about 10-15 minutes.

Not bad, not bad at all. Too bad I'm not a bard. I might give it a shot if I'm really desperate for Character EXP, but personally I've been content with simply doing the repeatable quests and whatever mainstream/story quests I can do.

I was thinking about giving this a go, but I don't think I'm going to bother. It looks a bit childish (No offense) and I prefer games with a very intense PvP base Ex. Dekaron, Aika, Aion, etc.

If anyone can clarify the PvP in this game for me I may look into it. As of right now, waiting on Dragon's Nest.

From what I've read on the AeriaGames forums, PVP is pretty much an afterthought in Eden Eternal. The game itself isn't bad though; the class system is robust in a way where you can be any class in the game at any time, meaning that you aren't necessarily restricted to one class for each character you make. The downside is that 90% of the classes in Eden Eternal have Character Level and/or Class Level requirements.

(I'm personally waiting for Dragon's Nest myself, especially after having played in the CBT. The gameplay is addicting and fun.)

That will probably prevent me from bothering with it, though I'm sure the game has potential, I like all the things I enjoy to be right in front of me.

And that's really sick dude, I'm really excited for it. A bunch of my friends are getting it too, looks like it's going to be a great game.

Aye aye, got same idea sort of except that I finally got it down working alright.

Goss Mountain Fame Chest contains the +5% Move Speed Cape.
Tranquil Hill Fame Chest contains the +5% Move Speed Ring. (Screamy)
Valley of King Fame Chest contains the 2nd +5% Move Speed Ring. (Heirloom) (You can't use 2 times the same unique ring so you need a different one.)
You can craft a Guitar that gives +5% Move Speed in Aven.
While doing the Main Quest you will eventually get 3-4 wind shards to make an item that gives +5% Move Speed.
Poem of Wind gives the remaining +10% Move Speed.

/gg 35% Move Speed. (I'm posting this because I haven't seen a single website telling where to get those gears.)

As for the solo run, you go inside Veninfang and lure every mobs together (see youtube vids to get an idea of a path and experiment yourself) until you see the Giants that I don't suggest to mob because well, they deal 5k dmg and your bard may not like it if you're slightly too slow on a cast. Run in circle with huge mob, with 35% move speed they will never catch up. Proceed to tap the hotkey for Burning Metal (lvl25 skill) aoe click on ground behind you and immediately re-click to semi-skip the casting animation. Keep running in circle, repeat.

Just got lvl46-48 pretty quick with that. It slows down after but it's still decent class exp/loot to sell etc.
I'm pretty much at end-game content almost too. Only 2 dungeons left and nothing else but having trouble to find 5-man parties who are lvl48-50.

There is no PVP, they just let you attack each other in duels. That isn't pvp at all. Nothing about the game is built towards pvp.

Re: Eden Eternal

For anyone who doesn't know; recent patch brought in the Crystal Altar function. Basically you click a blue icon on your minimap when you have a Eden Crystal and then transform said crystal for a random prize. Sounds like a store thing, though I wouldn't be too surprised if there's quests and whatnot offering Eden Crystals as a prize, though it seems widely to be used as event prizes more than anything else.

Oh, and the Zumi race is becoming a selectable race during character creation in early July. May make a new character for it, though if so it'll be on a different server with a different name and a different class focus (i.e, melee or ranged) even though I could be every class in the game at any time. (I just like to be organized, tis' all, though I'm gonna be gimping myself out of class expertise bonuses for doing so.)

Izzy 06-27-2011 11:07 PM

Re: Eden Eternal

I don't plan on making a Zumi character, but I do want to have my caster character and dps character separate. I will probably level all of the classes on both, but i don't want to get the gear on both for everything. I'm mostly separating them because of heroic traits.
