calculus ppl listen up
this isnt really critical thinking but there isnt a math topic here so ill post it here since u have to think about it...so yeah i need help with a calculus problem...
ln tan x prime + (sinē x + cosē x) ---------------------------------------- (tan x) prime |
Is the problem asking for the integral? The fraction seems set up for u-substitution though I can't think of what to do with the tangent off the top of my head.
(sinē x + cosē x) is equal to 1, in case that helps at all. |
yeah i already figured that out...i cant figure out the rest.
|
Eureka!!! I got it E=MC2
|
What exactly do you want done to this equation? The person above asked if you wanted the integral, but you said nothing to answer the question...
EDIT: Also, in the numerator of the equation is it set up as ln((tan x)') or (ln(tan x))' where ' is prime. |
i dunno its a math problem im supposed to figure out..no questions asked.
|
There's no problem involved. You don't have a goal or an equation or anything.
|
yeah i think its asking for the integral, which is wut i thought but i wasnt sure. even with that answered, i cant figure out the rest.
|
hey!! its a topic abot me, ur so kind
|
No, you are Trig ratios, not calculus :P
Anywho, yes, we need to know if you are integrating or differentiating here. And also, are you sure that is a prime and not an exponent? |
i have no idea it was just given to me...
|
I'm so glad I'm not in calculus yet...
