seriously people need to chillout about black friday. repeatedly stepping on someones body just to rush in the door. They even ripped the door off the hinges. They still kept running past the EMS workers when they were trying to save him.

I agree, but then again, it IS the best shopping day of the year.

People are especially worried about the economy, and they will do anything to get what they want at the price they want, even if it means waiting forever and getting up really early to get whatever they want.

That's why some places have specials the Monday after Thanksgiving. It's usually called "Cyber Monday".

People will shop there to avoid the huge crowds by shopping on the stores' websites, although the specials may not be as good, but it is still a great alternative if waiting in huge lines and crowds isn't for you.

I'm not supporting the people, I'm just saying why the people are so desperate to take whatever they can get, especially with the economy.

I'm amused at how many of you have turned this into Wal-Mart's fault.

People have been injured in human stampedes anywhere there has been large crowds of people driven to a frenzy. Hell, at the high school I work at, students stampeded the hallways and injured three people. That was probably Wal-Mart's fault, too, though.

Also, the "lol black people" comments stop now.

edit: did anyone read the comments at the bottom of the article? They are more tragic than this man's death.
