here's my take

You're also participating in the game, and you also want people to read you as town and not lynch you, regardless of your actual alignment.

The fact is, wolves have too much information in this game, they already know exactly who's town and who's wolf. So they don't usually get genuine "towny" thoughts during a game, they have to fake these thoughts. That's a lot of effort, so wolves tend to prefer hiding thoughts, or not posting at all. Because giving information to town is what makes wolves lose.

If you're town, it's in town's best interest to share most or all of your thoughts. We can look at them and figure out how genuine they seem. This is especially true in the later phases of the game, once we have mechanical information, we can look back at thoughts and votes in the earlier phases and see what looks like a wolf who has too much information vs what looks like a town who doesn't have enough information.

+1 to this, most helpful post so far.

I give 0 fuck about d0 while d0 is going on, so I don't really have much to say about it. However it does mean something later on.

That being said, if anyone has something to say, unless they NEED to keep it for later, they should definitely say it.

Glad we can finally agree on the one thing that put the nail in the coffin on my vote for you last game.

If I die first day because of cringy posts, so be it whoops. I cant be expected to make educated and intelligent posts this early.

You know what, true enough. My true thoughts are at this point, as a newbie, I dont know anyones playstyle, or what to interpret from everyones posts. All I see is either shitposting, or people trying to offer advice. Im at this point just wanting to survive the first night so I can actually analyze something against all the posts.

If you die early it's because you didn't dig yourself out of a hole when people read you like shit, not because of cringe posts, unless they literally reek of wolfness.

Or if people got you to l-1 and then I noticed the thread, in which case you just die

I think most of us feel this, so don't worry. Some people are a bit more comfortable cutting into the meat on d0, but I'm sure most of us just long for d1 to come so they can analyze outcomes.

The exceptions being the wolves, who still want to get by d0, but not for solving.

You can't get more cringy than me, mate. I'm trying so hard to be funny with my shitposting, only to get slightly acknowledged... Don't worry, just relax, open up, join the circle

... OR his wolf partner told him to say that in wolfchat. If that's the case, it would prolly be one of the currently active peeps, so me, gooch stinker, sanz or mario (fuck that name)

lets all keep that in mind

Inb4 I just basically solved the game and I'm gonna be the first nightkill

... but actually, they'll think nightkilling me will be suspicious so they won't do it

... but then again they'll think people are gonna think they can't be that dumb so they'll nightkill me anyway

Let me break down reasons why I have my vote on you now.

Not really? I've skimmed through all posts in this thread, and am trying to understand the game a little better. For now though it just seem's like I was targeted for being AFK for a day, and then there was an immediate vote followed just based off the fact that I hadn't said anything.
To be honest at this point, I feel like any lynch is a random lynch, and I don't really have a proper way to defending myself besides maybe posting THE BEST MEMES. If I get lynched now, I feel it as a learning experience and will probably laugh a bit when my role is revealed, and hope what I have said leads to a bit of something fun to watch from the sidelines. Ill probably vote for someone who has 1 vote right now in a bit just to maybe hope for a random lynching instead of just letting myself die, and revoke/change it if my situation changes.

Very straightforward talking in a game that is based on deception and lying.
Do I win yet

I got first suspicion from this post because usually from the experiences I've had with others, is that generally, in all situations, having a KitB situation is very bad for town. Not only does it thin out the votes across 2 people so that if a wolf or two have a reason to swap votes, it can manipulate the lynch for town to a mislynch, but if a wolf is receiving pressure, they can roll dice to get out of their respective lynch. It makes me slightly uneasy that mellon was quick to town-lean from this post, but there was zero follow-up on it. I'm assuming that maybe mellon's perspective is coming from one that acknowledges that it's a new player, and they may lack game experience that would be crucial to knowing stuff like this, but it's worth pointing out.

This is straight up restricting town knowledge. If the vote lands on you or you die or something and you decided to withhold that information, then it becomes lost knowledge, and town will play the game forever without that knowledge. AKA, it doesn't help town. So, if you're town and you aren't really there to help town solve the game, then it's kind of just a dead weight vote. This is what ended up confirming my vote on Sanzath in the previous game that we were talking about, because I was attempting to ask him questions about where his wolf reads would be if I flipped town (as most votes were on me and votes were starting to pile on Sanzath), and he refused to answer those because he was pretty darn sure I was a wolf, and that a wolf shouldn't have privileges to those answers for their own agenda.

I feel like it’s hard to defend myself saying what I want to say without it sounding very wildly lol. If I die I die, and I can have a good laugh afterwards.

If that was the case, it sounds like some top tier wolf gameplay, almost like playing two games at once. In order to enable this, it would also mean the wolf either knows dragonmega very well in order to come up with this strategy, or dragonmega opened up in wolfchat about their insecurities and the wolf was able to come up and deploy this strategy in time.

I highly doubt this scenario, mainly because
* I don't think any of the people you listed are close to dragonmega
* Dragonmega doesn't seem to me like the kind of person who would open up like that right out of the gate, even to a team of wolves
