Thanks to everyone that joined us for the awesome marble races, it was a lot of good fun! There were a bunch of close calls, but the marbles associated with the songs above ended up being the winner. If you had a good time and would like to do marble track racing to determine the next two rounds as well, let me know!

Round 4 Extensions
Due to the holiday season, everyone participating will automatically get a Round 4 extension until the end of Round 5 with no penalty. However, if you submit a Round 4 score after Round 5 starts, you'll need to submit a proper screenshot of your score (please read the OP for instructions on how to take a proper screenshot. I reserve the right to reject screenshots that don't adhere to the guidelines in the OP.)

i feel like round 5 is where the score differentials between players in D6 are really gonna start widening. and knowing me imma be on the lower end of the gap lol

Fucking yes, im so glad we didnt get breakbeat acid or id have quit tbh. I hate sleepmix too but at least i have a chance at a mid SDG on a good jack day haha

i just meant that every tourney i've participated in there's always some people that turn up in the last couple rounds when the difficulty gets to be borderline D6/7. i've never been able to do that lol

i'm guessing there are some that will do the same this time around.

i've developed quite the nasty habits on the D6 file over the years as shown but i still kinda have fun with the little bursty parts when i'm not too nervous on them (the gluts are another story though)

Yeah, it seems that starting this round, most players are gonna have to put in a bit of work in order to squeeze out a good score. I see some solid scores already though...keep 'em coming!

Oh Rats. I wish I would have been more diligent about checking the web site to see that there is a TOURNAMENT. I sure would have liked to play in this tournament but now it is too late for me to be a Par Tic I Pant. I would say more bad words on this post but I can already hear my mom getting angry in the other room so I Ought to stop.

Attention D7 players:
I know that FFR doesn't have a wide range of files in the 100+ difficulty range. So for the final round, if you folks want, we can instead do something from the ffrmania engine. However, in order for this to occur, everyone in D7 would need to agree to this. If this is something you'd like (or are just indifferent to), just send me a PM and be sure to remind other D7 players to let me know as well.

I'll send this as a PM later to all D7 participants to make sure everyone sees this.

EDIT: We could also use ffrmania for Round 5 as well, but I'd need to get everyone's permission sooner in that case.

EDITv2: To make this more clear, the alternative is everyone in D7 plays Undici for the final round.

EDITv3: Scratch the above edit. I don't want to make promises that I might later decide I don't want to keep.

EDITv4: scratch everything. Gonna do this slightly differently. Just a sec.

How would ffrmania work though? Im not D7 but i play it enough to know that the difficulties are nowhere near accurate unless youre just picking basically the hardest song.

I'm gonna try to get some opinions from other D7 players that aren't currently in the tournament to help with song choices if we end up going the ffrmania route.
