Netflix animoo discussion

Netflix hosts anime, so I figure let's make an anime talk thread about the ones that are featured on netflix! Recommendations, warnings, and discussions, all in one spot. What's not to love!

Boners (people who watch subs over dubs)
Pseudo Enigma
Trogdor!!!
mellonxcollie
Mike Weedmark
Izzy
GuidoHunter
Korny

Off the top of my head, I've seen (Or re watched)

Eden of the East + Movies (EXTREMELY good)
Rin - Daughters of Mnemosyne (Very good, lots of boobs and sex)
Girls Bravo (boring, lots of boobs)
Full Metal Alchemist (Very good)
Rosario+Vampire (Panty shot much?)
B gata H kei - Yamada's first time (extremely funny, plus tits at the end!)
Fairy Tail (Fun little action anime, great art and the English cast is fantastic)
Sword Art Online (very fun to watch the first half, second half is a little dry)
Legend of the Legendary Heroes (Legendary title, generic action show)
Ghost Hunt (very fun series split into 5 different story arcs)
Trigun (Classic)
My Bride is a Mermaid (Eh, nothing special)
Welcome to the NHK (extremely gripping, lots of fun)
Samurai Champloo (Classic)
Kaze no Stigma (not often is the male lead significantly more fun than the female lead)

Currently watching Sekirei, which is basically just a boring action/harem with huge tits very episode.

Yamada's First Time is a surprisingly intelligent show compared to how the DVD box makes it sound. I'm on episode nine right now and it's probably one of the most accurate representations of human behavior in its genre, and is funny while doing it. It's a perfect example of retarded premise, incredible execution.

I highly recommend it.

Re: Netflix animoo discussion

Sekirei a shit. Don't watch
SAO is shit. Avoid at all costs.
Chaos;Head somehow manages to exist even when it shouldn't.

B Gata H Kei is probably okay
NHK ni Youkuso is a must watch
Samurai Champloo is worth watching (how do they have this but not Cowboy Bebop tho)

Madoka is now on Netflix. It's only 12 ep. and is one of the most influential animu today. Watch it.
But then again now that it's gone mainstream I can't feel cool about having all my swag of it D:

Not sure about the others since I haven't had a chance to browse the list extensively.

Attack on Titan is supposed to be really good, but it's only in Japanese so I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. Supposedly there's a dub coming out soon

Snowcrafta's newfag contrarian bullshit aside, it would be nice if this thread was a little bit serious.

I also recommend .hack//Quantum. Even if you don't like hack, or shows about MMOs in general, it's only three episodes long and has some of the best animation I've ever seen. It's worth the hour for the visuals alone. If you DO like hack, BONUS.

Have something to say? I never said it was a high bar to achieve, so fuck off. It's a romcom, and it's pretty damn good at it relatively speaking. I didn't call it Evangelion.

Man, is everyone an asshole?

I concur. I was pretty hesitant to watch it at first, and after the first episode, I was hooked.

The idea of making a girl want to fuck 100 dudes before she graduates is a pretty bizarre root for a plot, but they do it so extremely well. The jokes are quite humorous, and the characters are pretty accurate and much less of stereotypes than generic high schoolers

Ps lol at calling me a newfag

Re: Netflix animoo discussion

n...no it's very close to generic if I must say so. It's as generic as a typical vanilla H manga. It just adds comedy to it to make it different.

Also he's right, you're a newfag to anime lol
