FFR Bets on Super Bowl LVI
Oh...Another event. How lovely.
ANYWAY! Welcome to FFR Bets on SBLVI! The object is simple. Pick which team will win the Super Bowl, and what the score will be! Who's Playing? Los Angeles Rams vs Cincinnati Bengals How do you win? If you pick the winning team: You and everyone else that picked the winning team will split the entire credit pot! Losers will walk away with a 1,000 credit participation prize. Wait a minute. How much is the pot? -That depends on how many people participate, so if you're looking at this post right now, what do you have to lose? No screenshots? No having to play FFR? What a deal! :D So why are we posting scores too? Didn't you say whoever picks the winning team wins share of the entire prize pool? -We want to see if anyone can get the winner can the score EXACTLY right! If you do, I'll double all winners' prizes (only once even though two people may pick the exact same scenario.) Whoever (if any) does pick the exact final score and winner will also receive an Event Token of their choice! Submissions will close and all predictions are considered final as of Sunday, February 13th, at 6:00 PM EST, 30 minutes before scheduled kickoff. Anything later will not count. Good luck! :) |

I know nothing about American football (or football in general, for that matter), but I've been watching every Super Bowl of the last 10 years.
Here's a funny anecdote: whatever team I legitimately want to win has -always- lost. So this year, I really want the Bengals to win. Their name is just cooler than a Ram (when I think of Rams, I think of dirty pickup trucks). Thus, if I were a betting man, I'd bet on the Rams. You can't beat that logic. Anyone betting on the Bengals are wasting their time. Go Bengals, for real, though!! |

As a St. Louis resident, I am obligated by tribalism to want the Rams to lose, but alas, they're clearly the better team. I also just don't care about football enough to inject real emotion into it.

As a Missourian, I am sad that the Chiefs aren't gonna be there this year so I'm probably gonna pay less attention to the game in general. I don't even watch football that much anyway so :P
