Been digging a bit and found out that the permission for Tooth & Nail Records (MxPx, mewithoutYou, Underoath, As Cities Burn, Damien Jurado, etc.) wasn't listed here.

One question though is, does it cover sublabels (Solid State Records and BEC Recordings) ?

We have a ton of songs like Between The Sheets [Heavy] as examples of why rushing to step a song and get it in-game is a bad idea. Patience, grasshopper.

I'm thinking of adding BMS in the label/group section (it's not listed anywhere in the first posts).

Does anyone remember if it's blanket or if there were any specific conditions ? (the only I remember of is that the genre name should be the same) Or who got that permission ?

it's listed as "open source" in previous threads and bmah and other posters list it as creative commons, but that's all i see in a cursory search. it's listed the same way back to the v5 of this thread, it doesn't look to be in v3 and i didn't see a v4 at all

I only follow this to a point. If the genre doesn't make sense, is wrong, or nondescript (e.g. Meteor Light's official genre is "Last Day") then this won't apply.

That actually helped me out a lot, I was able to track down where the BMS permission comes from :

So as long as the music is specified open source, that means we can redistribute it with no repercussions.

Managed to get permission for Loffciamcore, who owns Splitterkore Records Dziwko.
His music is ok to use, however when I spoke to him about other artists on the Label he said he would have to ask them all individually, so just stick to his stuff for now.


At the moment he has allowed us to use six tracks, which he'll be sending over to me later this evening. (I'll update with the tracks later on) However from the first e-mail he said that we can choose some if we want, so if someone wants permission for a specific song let me know and I'll see what I can do.
