the only anime in rapta's list that's even remotely okay is the world god only knows and that's still being pretty generous

to be fair the garden of words kept my stiffy rock hard throughout the movie from the scenery porn. I didn't care about the actual story itself because it was incredibly boring and cheese as fuck but at least it was pretty to look at. kinda like a really attractive person you'd only sleep with but the instant they open their mouth to speak, you just completely tune them out and keep staring like you know what they're saying but it's okay because they're hot

A series where the mechs aren't needed and the plot doesn't matter. (But in a serious note; show didn't need mechs at all in it, like nobunaga the fool)
I can't just comment on other posts; here's a few more to add to the rec. list.
Comedy: Nichijou
Slice of Life: Barakamon
There's a lot of loli, romance, harem, combat in that list.
(That aside; Chaika's ending was terrible)

lol if you plan on watching 500 episodes. mmm honestly, bleach was... kinda meh. it was one of those anime shows that should have ended at about 20% through the show, and they just kept going. and kept going. and kept going.

you get the point. decent show overall, but if ur gonna spend that much time on anime anyway, watch dragon ball, then dragon ball z. dont watch gt, pretend it doesnt exist.

EDIT: the first few seasons of bleach were good. the parts saving rukia. then it started to get overkill on just about everything ever.

Probably the fact Akira Toriyama had nothing to do with it. Much in same way people were upset with ESO for not being made by Bethesda, fanboys aren't happy when their much loved series is taken in a different direction by a different writer/developer/whatever and considered a canon addition to the franchise.
