TWG XCIV: Old Blood

WELCOME TO THE GAME!

first, a few rules that you might not be used to, PAY CLOSE ATTENTION:

General Rules

1) This is a game. HAVE FUN.
2) I have final say in everything. If I make a mistake, please send me a PM to discuss it. Votecount errors can be pointed out in the thread.
3) Anything in the thread that should draw my attention should be bolded: @Fojar, things to be said.
4) You may not talk about this game outside of this thread; exceptions are only when your Role PM allows it.

5) Bolded Blue is my color. Do not use it, under penalty of death (in game).
6) Do not quote your Role PM or any other PM from Me. Likewise, do not quote from any outside communication.
7) I will post votecounts periodically. i'll try to keep on top of it, but i do sleep.
8) If you edit your post, I will modkill you.

Player Activity

9) If you are inactive, i'll send you a PM asking what's up. You must respond in-thread within 24 hours or you will be replaced.
10) Votes MUST be bolded and it is preferable if they are at the beginning of the line that they are on (flush left, if that makes it clearer).
11) Notwithstanding Rule #10, if I think it's a Vote, it's a Vote. Be very clear of your intentions.

Deadlines and actions and such

12) Days will have a 72 hour deadline; extensions will rarely be granted, and then only in extenuating circumstances.
13) Night deadlines will be at least 24 hours.

Death and other matters

14) Voting for a No-lynch is an option that only requires a simple majority.
15) Lynching requires a true majority of votes (more than 50%) from the living players. Every votecount will have the number alive and the number required to lynch.
16) If the required number of votes is not reached by deadline, there will be NO LYNCH.

17) Once a lynch has been reached and it is Twilight, everyone may talk until I post the death scene. Any votes made after lynch has been reached will be ignored.
18) If you are night-killed, you are allowed one "Bah!"-type post. No game-relevant content allowed.
19) Any action that results in modkill during the day phase will end the day phase.

Re: TWG XCIV: Old Blood

So, to be clear about major differences between this and other TWG games, essentially:

1. there is no outside talking, unless your role specifically allows it.
2. there must be an instalynch for a lynch to occur
3. voting for a no-lynch is an option
4. there will be cardflipping
5. one wolf and one wolf only will send in the kill each night.

DOUBLEPOSTED FOR IMPORTANCE:

1. there is no outside talking, unless your role specifically allows it.
2. there must be an instalynch for a lynch to occur
3. voting for a no-lynch is an option
4. there will be cardflipping
5. one wolf and one wolf only will send in the kill each night.

Re: TWG XCIV: Old Blood

The streets of Pforzheim were relatively quiet, no more so than usual, but most were still asleep when the screams came from the mayor's house. The shrill voice of the mayor's wife jarred the townsfolk from their early morning slumber. The townsfolk raced toward the house, burst through the door, and found the mayor and his wife torn to shreds.

next to the mayor, smeared in his blood was the phrase: Rückkehr des alten Blutes

Return of the old blood

Manti was the first to break the shocked silence

"what's that in the mayor's hand.... hair of some kind"

Jrodd crouched to get a better look, took some of the hair from the mayor's hand and rubbed it between his fingers

"feels more like animal fur... but the gates are still closed, and there's no way a wild animal could have gotten over the walls."

"what about that message 'return of the old blood'.. do you think the mayor was trying to tell us something?" one winged angel said from the back of the room

"i dont think the mayor left that message for us", said zoshi, "look, there's no blood on either of his hands, same with his wife"

"then who wrote it?" said TPS, "i thought we were looking for an animal."

Gun, who had been looking for clues near the open window spoke up "i think we are looking for an animal.. look, there's a bloody pawprint right in front of the window"

all of a sudden, an ominous voice filled the room

"it's werewolves"

James May probably would have said something like "that fojar guy sure is getting lazy" but he was lost, in a small town where he had spent all of his life. inexplicably lost.

Roles are going out now, day one will start shortly

as a reminder, THERE IS NO TALKING OUTSIDE OF THE THREAD (unless your role specifically allows it)

Re: TWG XCIV: Old Blood

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I'll think of a more constructive post later, I'm the least experienced player here and would much rather someone else with more experience devise a solid plan for creating a human alliance. The fact that we don't know how many (if any) of each role exists kinda throws a kink into things.

DARKMANTICOREX2

it was a day one like any other day one

Re: TWG XCIV: Old Blood

you can't create solid alliances in this game because anyone who would be able to provide the elements necessary to do so could be lying

you must trust your instinct and observe people's behaviors. think of it more like poker and less like magic.

Re: TWG XCIV: Old Blood

Seer should come out as soon as they hit the guard or hit a red. If you hit the red, we can verify if there is indeed a guard in the game. If not, you will pretty much die. Roleflips makes it retarded for wolves to claim seer. There's no point in coming out as seer since you have no info right now.

freakysnots 05-10-2013 04:36 PM

Re: TWG XCIV: Old Blood

Nvm I don't think seer should come out if they hit the guard. It's up to you to figure out a strategy. Just tell us a red when you get one.

Zoshi 05-10-2013 04:36 PM
