2008 is a great tune and I like this file because its challenging me to learn fast jump stream patterns within 16 note beats which is a big weakness of mine. I am more used to fast streams of 16th note patterns, but when you throw 16th note jumps, that's when things are tough but my fingers are finally starting to get better at it. Still need major improvement of course.

Hoping to make the cut this round and move to the top 8. Good luck to everyone else, this file is tough!

The file in D5 is sure putting some pressure on me to do good in the jack sections.

Gotta keep pressing on, though. It's my first time past round 3 since the first ever OT I participated in.

I really tried on Viden, because it's a neat song and I felt confident that I could do pretty well, but as usual the game messed with my head too much. It's really bewildering how that happens, with so much practice I still haven't gotten better than my first playthrough. And I was never in the same zip code as the top 6-12 people so, oh well. Probably not going to keep at it because I'm nearing the line of not getting frustrated at it that I set for this tournament, and starting a new job this week. GG GL HF and thanks to everyone keeping the game going.

^^ I do the same thing, tend to do my best plays in the first or second playthrough, and then my scores just get worse and worse

That's exactly the problem I'm having! The first couple of playthroughs were great and I'm just getting worse.

Some songs just do that. It was Snorestop for me last tournament and I actually managed to finally improve it during the Self-Improvement tourney lol

I tend to do better first or second attempt. When I try different songs and return to the tournament song I feel refreshed, maybe try just spicing up a little bit then return to the tournament file. I can't AAA 2008 for my life, but I can AAA bad boy? R u kiddin me

My AAA streak has ended. This round really stepped it up, as I cannot even get close to SDG. Just really hate triples, especially with rapid pressing. I'm worried I might even get eliminated this round, not that happy with my score. Just hoping if I move on, please no triples!
