FFR for your calculator?!?!?

Yes I already know it exsists (see XXR) but dosen't stop me from trying does it? I was just wondering, if I wanted to use the FFR name would I have lawers flying at me like bolders? I understand that I can't put FFR on my site, and the game I'm making had no acual FFR code, it just shares the name, and in the readme I'll put a disclamer abut how this is in no way affilated with the FFR site or their awsomeness game, so I was just wondering... if you want to see what I have so far http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/3083/ptiani11gt.gif is a nice screenie (note that this is not ME playing, I'm not nearly that bad :P)

Just use something like Calc Calc Revolution or something lol

I like the concept. If I could buy a calculator with this (if the speed was twice what it is now) I'd buy it.

twice that? :D well this is the slower of the 2 calcs you can play it on, I played it on the faster one, and it was almost 4 times faster :P in some cases just grey lines where the arrows are :o

Well it sounds like fun. Maybe you could have mass-produced Calc Calc Revolution thingies! =^O

FFR makes sense as a name since it's made in flash... call it Assembly Assembly Revolution or something like that :p

That would be sweet to play it on your TI 83 during math

Definately. Once I get a TI 83, I'd definately be willing to pay for something like this.

You should patent the idea, or do what you gotta do to make sure this is safeguarded.

http://www.freewebs.com/cdi_/FFR3.gif newest image, the 2nd set of arrows is to be used for other things.

As for safegaruding the name :P maybe, normally I'd say keep the code, play with it, have fun, but in this case I need to make sure to say that NO CODE can be used. also, you need at least a TI-83+ for this

It's a good idea, but there's one little problem: how would sound work?

And no, don't say headphones, because the PC jack on the bottom of the calc is not the same size as a headphone jack.

Also, just a quick note for everyone: It'll also work on a 84+, since the two models are almost exactly the same expect for the 84 having more memory and features. As for the more advanced models, there's proably lots of emulators out there to play 83/4+ games. I would assume so, since those models have most of the games ever made.

Re: FFR for your calculator?!?!?

Easy, not only do the songs on the calc line up to the real thing, but if you hop on down to an electrnics store and grab a 5mm to 2.5mm jack you now have a headphone jack to plug in headphones for simple sound (nothing that great, SE's and 84+ line only)

And atm it is not being developed for TI-84+ because of problems with xLIB and I cannot ensure accuracy of the songs on 84+/SE only 83+/SE (there is a TINY TINY TNY speed diffrence in the end, but it matters)
